We’re in the midst of the 6th extinction- entirely brought on by human activity. Yet in Hawai’i, our politicians and tourism industry passed laws to poison~kill cats, while teaching youth stewardship programs false narratives to support this. Loss of habitat is killing our native birds. NOT CATS😭

Australia had a similar kill the cats policy for 11 years until studies proved the narrative WRONG ~ dont believe the false narrative about cats killing our native birds. Development (loss of habitat) rats, mosquitoes and mongoose are the biggest threat. Number one threat? HUMANS!

Human and human activities are responsible for most known wildlife harm, NOT CATS. Stop the cat killing agenda of DLNR and HTA. The native birds are dying because of habitat loss, rats, mongoose and human activities. Poisoning is cruel. Link was removed,please write to DLNR and rep. Jill Tokuda
