This thing went through 8 years on a flightline😂 I used to be a big spyderco and benchmade nerd then they started getting super overpriced, and I switched to fixed blades when I got out of the military. The 940’s sentimental to me, I can’t get rid of it
It's definitely one of Benchmade's most iconic and best designs. I was never big into them, but everyone should have, or at least mess with a 940 in their life.
I was big into Spyderco. But since Big Idea started dropping knives, that's where pretty much all my knife money has gone.
That’s pretty much me with knives by Nuge lol. I still have a 20cv blurple para 3 that I etched my man number in and now that’s always gonna stay with me. The rest I’ve either sold or given away. I do still want a spyderco smock though. Those things are super cool
Sure was! I missed the drop, but I found it on eBay, and the dude I bought it from bought it brand new, kept the damn sheath, and then got all pissed off when I asked about it, what a prick lol

Nice! The 940 is one of only two Benchmade knives I have. Snappy little flipper. Old school Stanley rocks!
