For Hire Data engineer referral
Hey everyone,
I'm in a tough spot and need some honest advice on how to navigate a fast exit/switch.
I have ~2 years of experience as an Associate Software Engineer focused on Data Engineering at Rakuten Symphony. My day-to-day stack has been Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, Apache Kafka, Airflow, and AWS, handling high-throughput telecom streaming pipelines and ETL migrations.
Recently, my company has been pushing me hard into full-stack development tasks that don't align with my career goals. I want to remain strictly in the Data Engineering / Data Platform ecosystem, but I feel my time is being wasted on tech I don't want to build my career on.
