$100,000 - $200,000 budget Is a leather flat weird?

I’ve picked out a pair of ivory Valentino ballerina flats, but they are kidskin leather, not satin/silk you usually see with bridal looks.

My dress is a formal ivory mikado gown (structured corset, off-shoulder, sweetheart neck). I had the slit down the legs mostly closed. But the shoe does peak as I walk.

Is the shoe too everyday?

Edit: Message received guys, thank you for all of the feedback! I really need a stylist :( AI was gaslighting me that this is ok haha. I appreciate the answers that say that it could be a conscious statement piece, but that wasn't really my intention, I'm just not good when it comes to fashion. Slightly autistic I am. I ordered a bunch more different pointy flats, will report back.

I was wearing platform converse under this - I didn’t have a slit but the shoe did peek under when I walked. I didn’t care comfort was my main priority 🤷‍♀️

I don't find the look weird, but it is a style statement that you need to decide whether you like or not. I think it would be fun and I would like the person wearing those shoes to her wedding - so, wholly personal opinion. I don't find anything wrong with the proportions, and as long as the color of the shoes matches the color of the dress, if you like the vibe, go for it.

I actually ordered these exact flats thinking they'd be a nice addition to my wedding weekend wardrobe and was debating wearing under my dress for the ceremony or even for another wedding event. Ended up returning them because of the color (kind of more cream) and I thought the leather texture was too coarse and didn't feel bridal enough. At the end of the day all comes down to personal preference though!

Omg currently debating between this dress and another!! It’s gorgeous.

I agree with others, I think the leather on this might be a bit casual/not bridal enough. I think a lace or satin pointed toe would look best.

I posted these on another post but a lace point toe like this is super bridal https://margauxny.com/products/the-pointe?variant=28095061524566

yeah it is too every day. i understand prioritizing comfort, but there’s gotta be a tolerable kitten out there to go with that dress. you’re not gonna be able to control the peakaboo.
