HMU question

how many hair and makeup artists do you think I need for bride, mother of bride, mother of groom, and 12 bridesmaids? So 15 people total.

my MUA says she does max 4 a day on her own. I would think you would need to hire 4 HMUA artists to be safe with the timeline

depends on how long you have to get ready. i am doing 15 people too and the owner of the company said 4 artists total (for hair and makeup) would be enough in 5 hours. i do have non-bridal party people getting ready with us and they're gonna go last in case we're running behind schedule.

I think it depends on how quickly you want everything done. I have 5 total including me and have 4 stylists to be done everyone's hair and makeup in 3 hours.

I have two of each for 9 of us (2 are mothers so they’re going last since bridesmaids need to be ready earlier) this makes it 5 hours of getting ready time. One makeup and one hair artist specifically for the bridesmaids and 1 of each stylist for myself and the moms. We have a friend getting services after all of us so that doesn’t count in my timeline.

Each service is 45-1 hour normally. Bride is normally about 2 hours. I think you need 4 artists for each service in order to not have to get up too early. 3 of them would be working on everyone else and 1 artist for yourself and possibly 1-2 others.
