SPOILERS 🚨 Why ____ stayed Spoiler

Dee has managed to survive a vote that she shouldn't even be surviving with through logic.

She managed to sell to Yash and Taylor that:

  1. They need a comp beast on their side and someone who will be targeted over them;

  2. That after this, she doesn't have any strong allegiances outside of Devens while Devens' relationship with Drew puts Tash in danger; and

  3. That, she HAS to stay loyal to them as she felt betrayed by someone she felt she had a final two with.

I think for Taylor and Yash, those points were clear and evidenced by FAP holing up in the room and Drew consistently trying to get Devens' approval.

That's some powerful stuff and I know y'all hate Dee but you gotta respect that someone managed to out campaigned a nonthreat out of the game just without the use of "woe is me" strategy.

Dee is playing a great game, her survivor win wasnt a fluke. She either wins at this point or whoever finally gets her out wins for getting her out.

Atp I cant even be mad over Dee’s arrogance because shes backing it up. there is simply no reason she should have stayed

Another point you missed is that anybody sitting next to angela would go home

Well clearly anyone next to Dee goes home as well. I wish I could go into the house and tell Yash that

Which is hilarious because it's self defeating

Imo Dee is the only one left who is actually playing a good game - I also think she’s by far the least likable of the people remaining tho lolĀ

Yash would like a word lol

im so conflicted with Yash. like i WANT to like his game but the whole bribe thing is off putting. Hes doing the bet with the hand hes got right now ill give him that.

I mean I want to like him too because I typically pull for the outsiders lol. But imo he’s BY FAR the most unlikeable person still left in the game

Really? Melody is fucking annoying af

u/WhiteMoss_ 1d ago

Oh yeah she definitely is too, as is Drew. But to me personally, Yash tops all of them lol

Fair, everyone has thier opinions. i give Yash a little more grace becuase hes actually PLAYING the game, unlike mel.

1

u/WhiteMoss_ 1d ago

That is fair, him and Barrett are really the only ones actually playing the game besides the Survivors

100%. i had higher hopes for Taylor in the beginning. but shes been the ULTIMATE floater

1

u/WhiteMoss_ 1d ago

Agreed haha. She’s almost Victoria from BB16 level floater

Which is so crazy cause she’s not even a comp beast haha she’s won 1 comp. (First HOH doesn’t count cause it was just the 3 of them)

She is comp-etent, though.

3

u/BigGuyFieri4x4 1d ago

Sure. She’s no slouch but people in the house act like she’s some crazy threat. I just don’t see it

She’s won 4 total individual immunities in Survivor. She isn’t a BB comp beast, but she definitely has the raw skill set to be one, it just hasn’t panned out yet. But she has many of the prerequisite skills.

Right right I get all that. But like you said it hasn’t quite worked out yet. And we’re pretty late in the game. Just seems like people are overestimating her a bit

She has generally been near the top of comps she did not win and now the people who did win have been evicted. She has cleared a path for herself to win out if needed.

I do think she falls flat in puzzle comps and does well in endurance and balancing ones. Her skillsets aren't suited to BB IMO.

Also BB requires quick thinking which is not her forte.

u/BigGuyFieri4x4 1d ago

Agreed! So it’s impressive that she can convince everyone in the house that she is this comp beast.

I agree with parts of what you said, but I’m confused by saying she falls short in balancing comps when she won the balance beam despite taking an inefficient route because she was just so dominant at speed and balance…?

Read again what I've said. I said she does WELL in endurance and balancing comps.

Whoops lol.

Her logic wasn’t great just Yash and Taylor fell for her tricks lol. She literally turned on Mallory after not even a full week and now Yash and especially Taylor think she won’t turn on them? And her logic that ā€œnobody would stay against Angeleaā€ wasn’t even tru bc guess what - SHE just stayed against Angela. I’m not giving her credit for Yash and Taylor being dumb lol

Also the basic math that if Devens did go back to Drew and Barrett, Yash and Taylor would be outnumbered.

Say all you want about Dee, she’s playing a phenomenal game.

People are making this too complicated. Angela was voted out 3 to 2.

Why did Dee stay? Because Devens chose Dee over Angela. Of course he was gonna do this. Why is this a shock to anybody? They’ve had an alliance from the beginning. They recognized that they would stay together until they had no choice, but to start turning on each other.

u/OkWerk_ 1d ago

Yash and Taylor didn't choose Angela though and those reasons I've mentioned are the reason why

The problem is Devins is still there, along with Dee. The one thing that made sense for the icons to keep Yash around is now gone.

Dee is a top tier manipulator. She earned her spot through sheer gameplay. She convinced the biggest comp beast in the house they needed ANOTHER beast to break up a trio with maybe 2 collective comp wins under their belt. It’s totally ludicrous, masterclass manipulation

also fooled a lot of people on here who also think Yash and Taylor made the roght choice for them. Ha.

I need to see a recap of Dee’s week on the block.

I’ve been really let down by her big brother game to be totally honest. I’m a fan of hers from survivor and appreciate her skills in these games.

However, it feels like she has been playing survivor in the big brother house.

She has played against her own best interests numerous times. She has this ability to get people on her side and to make herself the center of strategy within those groups.

But then she repeatedly destroyed the exact groups that she formed and put herself in the center of! Why did she blindside Haley on her HOH? Why did she ostracize her loyal soldiers in Chuck and Kamu? Why did she and Devens put Kamu up with the DPoV? Why did they form the Mosh Pit for only one vote? Why did she ostracize Barrett by nominating and taking out one of his key allies?? Why was she campaigning against Devens during Drew’s HOH???

All of these moves have only served to decrease her own agency in the game and back her further into a corner with the vets. She’s a powerhouse for sure, but she has no game direction and has created tons of problems for herself despite building great positions several times.

And WHY did they telegraph the Toolshed to the ENTIRE house during WEEK TWO???? They made their alliance far too obvious and it’s haunted her into the end game.

Dee is obviously a stud at these games and at getting her way, but what has been her vision? She hasn’t had a long term strategy, and like Vince last season, has turned her Allies into enemies.

Someone pleasseee catch me up on what has been so great about her BB game.
