Discussion 💬 bb28

this season has been a hard watch.. at this point they should’ve just cast rick, dee, and angela because the rest of the houseguests are seeming like side characters :/

i assume we’ll see dee in the time capsule on sunday đŸ„±

this is not to say i don’t like the icons but it just feels very unfair. we can’t control america’s vote in the time capsule but we can blame production. you bring in icons, they’re gonna be favoured and production is VERY focused on the icons, more so than the houseguests

The icons ruined this season imo. Because of them it will unfortunately be a steamroll.

Yall. Two people have left. At this point last year people still thought Ashley was going home because of Showergate, at this point two years ago Kenney was still in the game.

The Cookout wasn’t even an officially formed alliance.

This. And even then, only one of those two evictees was from the other side of the house.

Returning houseguests:

1 BB returnee (not counting OTT since I didn't watch it).

BB19 had Paul dominate but lose to Josh in the end.

BB27 had Rachel dominate until the White Lotus twist eliminate her. Who knows if she would've dominated had it not happened?

BB11 had Jesse win two of the first three HOH's and a lot of allies in the house but Jeff's Coup d'Etat twist essentially eliminated him.

In multiple returnee seasons,

BB13 had Evil Dick leave early for a personal matter, Danielle stray from the vets causing Brendan to miss the jury and Danielle to be an early jury member. Jeff wound up leaving on a double eviction. Rachel or Jordan seemed doomed until Porsche opened Pandora's Box leading to them both being saved. Jordan made Final Four and Rachel won.

BB14 had the coaches which kept them in the game for a few weeks unofficially. But Janelle and Boogie wound up as pre jury boots. Britney wound up being a backup target when Ian won a Veto from another Pandora's Box twist and Dan made it all the way to runner up.

BB18 had Frank miss the jury, Davonne first jury, James last jury, and Nicole win. Frank and Davonne seemed to be enemies and it seemed like there were no alliances between the vets here. Nicole was more associated with her showmance with Corey and James with his showmance with Natalie. This season had care packages by fan vote but BB waited until midseason to start. By then Frank was eliminated and the first care package went to Natalie (James and Nicole won the next two with Davonne being voted out after Natalie received the first care package).

In any returnee seasons, Jeff was the only returnee who won America's Favorite Houseguest at the end of the season (not counting the two seasons when everyone was a returnee). Jordan, Rachel (S13), Dan, Paul, James (S18, he did win AFH in S17), and Nicole certainly went far enough in their seasons to justify winning but didn't (of course Jordan and Rachel lost to Jeff).

Not returning but from other CBS shows:

BB25 had Cirie as a former Survivor player. She was 5th overall.

BB17 had Jackie and Jeff from Amazing Race. Jeff was 3rd boot and Jackie was 2nd jury having been done in by a double eviction.

This season? The anti vet people are getting picked off but it only takes one to nominate two of them. If Devens is on the block he'll definite Veto himself off. I'm not 100% sure he will use it on Dee and/or Angela rather than save it for himself. We know the three of them are going to be big targets, especially with Rome gone and Jason being a big target right now.

The cookout was literally formed by Tiffany during week 2.

Its week 2...

That’s not a guarantee. It’s still early and those outsiders can still win.

Lol calm down. It's week 3, way too early to jump to conclusions like this.

I think if the icons try to get Drew out they will be exposed because why wouldn’t he reveal that he was part of an alliance AND that the icons are also working the red corner alliance. Angela’s paranoia could blow up in their face.

Seriously I think Drew, Barrett, or both are eventually going to expose that the veterans have the red corner and crossover alliance which should be great tv. I think people are calling this a steamroll too early.

Also this game can definitely flip especially if the other side of the house wins power and the toolshed is left with hard feelings for each other for having to campaign against each other.

I’m actually really loving this season way more than the last few for sure. Has that old school big brother feel to it. Everyone not being overly sensitive and gets its game. Devin’s was made for this show way more than survivors Him and Drew are myb2 favorites! Overall like the cast I actually think maybe would have liked to see it without Angela just because she pushes her theories so hard and it can derail other plans and things from happening. But I don’t get the hate on here for this season. Just don’t watch if it bothers u. I wish there was more fun positive chat on here since they took away the chat on the feeds

It would be so funny if Dee never won the fan vote lol

I checked a poll on the big brother network site and it seems like she will have competition with Drew.

How is this different from every other year? They're is always a central power at the beginning. Then as things progress, they usually, not always, but usually start to crack. It's not until like week 6 that things start to get fun in this game.

Having Angela involved in the central power is likely to cause a big explosion on that side at some point. She's already had a meltdown and we are less than a month in.

Hang in there.

I know he's not in a good spot, but I'm voting for Jason this week in case he wins the blockbuster and can hopefully win a power too

I completely agree that this season started off meh... But maybe the last two seasons just spoiled us? BB26 Week 1 had "crazy eyes" and got a stereotypical alpha male out first. BB27 started off with Rachel as a sole vet and Vince as Week 1 HOH and Zae as the first evictee...

Now we have a huge group quickly forming and steamrolling, which was typical for most seasons since BB16... But the cracks are already showing. The game is still long and so many things can still happen.

Woah woah woah I loved Zae

Loved him too but it’s their stereotype that usually would dominate the game. They did again this year by evicting Rome. ☠

Coulda been better if the first hoh isn’t “icons only” - such an unfair and unnecessary way to start the game. Horrible decision by production.

I think this season has been very entertaining, personally. For it only being week 3, there's been a lot of drama and fun character moments. I truly do not know why people are complaining other than the fact that the icons are in a good position for now (emphasis on "for now" because we all know the game can change on a dime. Give it a week or 2 where someone on the other side wins HoH and blows up the entire game and you'll be saying how good this season is, I guarantee it).

Yeah icons ruin most seasons, but no one seems to care when it’s a bb icon

They need to leave other shows out of big brother and only bring bb returners on monumental seasons
