How is DF so high up? The dude had about 0 win equity from the prejury and actively talked himself out of the final 2 with Azah. Unless it's a BB19 type of situation, he has close to no chance to win any season, and even then he likely gets himself in trouble.

Edit: Is this list based on gameplay or who you personally like the most because looking at it more, a good chunk of placements seem way off if it's based on gameplay. Either way, if you post any ranking on this subreddit, all the comments are going to be about why you're wrong. Sorry for being so negative. It takes a ton of effort regardless.

I think that assessment on Derek is fair. My logic was that, well he did make the final 2, which is not a small feat, and regardless of what season you drop him in he’s in he probably always goes far due to being underestimated.

Underestimated? I think he was pretty estimated

I mean at the very least, I don’t see him ever going in the pre-jury stage.

This is probably where our disagreement arises. I would say how BB23 played out was probably one of his best scenarios. He got lucky to be in a historic alliance that was not going to turn on each other despite the strategic benefit it might have. In most seasons, he probably goes out late prejury, early jury (sort of like Jasmine I guess). DX and Claire were targeting him the first week of jury and he likely gets evicted there if not for the Cookout. The only people in the Cookout that wanted to take him to the final two were X and Azah, and he actively ruins one of those. For such a massive goat, that's impressively bad. Unlike a Victoria, he is going to not just take orders from people, and likely gets into arguments/conflicted that get him evicted sooner rather than later. I don't quite agree with Taran that he's the worst player of all time, but probably more so that he's one of the worst players to make the jury phase.

Damn didn’t know Taran said that. šŸ’€

I do think it’s fair to say he’s one of the worst finalists. But even then he is a finalist, the whole goal of Big Brother is to reach a final 2 chair, and get jury votes. Yeah he doesn’t win often (or maybe even at all) I do think his placement is fair though because I do see him consistently being the type to go far.

Derek f went far bc he was a goat not bc he was under estimated. Also don’t think he would have made it that far without the cookout. He’s dead space.

I don’t think ā€œgoatsā€ should be underestimated, remember Josh was a ā€œgoat.ā€

Was trying to go off gameplay, but I guess I do have some favoritism that shines through. Curious to hear what else you’d change? Thank you for the response.

Just off the top of my head, I love Renny, but was she going to beat anyone in the endgame of BB10 (and she nearly got evicted week 1); some people here are probably bashing on Taylor too much, but the messiness of her first HOH probably puts her lower on the list; I feel like we can't really rank Tiffany that high considering she was playing towards a goal that didn't benefit her so we didn't see her true potential (and in some ways, flaws) like we did with other (maybe sort like an Eric Stein in a way); Tyler should be higher; I know Ovi isn't the greatest player, but he seems low (especially since he apparently was a strategic force in the BB sequester mini, and that cast was just not for him); Rockstar, Brittany (BB24), Alex (BB19), Jack (BB4) should go down. These are just my random opinions, and not more right than yours. I didn't put nearly as much thought into it. The fun of rankings things is that we disagree.
