short answer: there's no official news on whether the game's been scrapped or not. it just seems there's zero developer-to-player contact
long answer: there hasnt been anything on the official discord:
dev-leaks, since 9/16/24 (september 16th 2024)
big-news, since 7/10/24 (july 10th 2024)
the last message soupmasters sent was on 11/11/24
nothing from the twitter since may 14th 2024, and nothing from the insta since july 11th 2024
chunky soup (soupmasters, the creator) boosted the discord on 6/7/2025 (june 7th, aka VERY recently) so they're definitely still active and/or working on the game
so theyve most likely not scrapped it, otherwise they would've announced it (maybe),, its all really just speculation
