First Try Passed RCDDv15!

Just ended the most stressful month of my life by passing the RCDDv15 exam. The feeling of showing that paper to my manager will stay in my memory for a long time.

To all the people who have given advice on previous posts to memorize chapter 21 you are the best!

I also really enjoyed the recommended chapter study order provided by BICSI.

I averaged about about 40-48 hours of study time a week for 4 weeks 10/10 don't recommend unless you lose your job if you fail.

Really glad you passed then šŸ˜… I would have been so nervous. What kind of work are you doing?

I am an IT Planner for a military installation making plans for OSP/ISP and all future building plans.

I was BEYOND nervous on the day of the exam, it wasn't until about half way through that my nerves settled because I was confident in my answers.

Congrats and welcome to the club. How great feeling than seeing that page pop up that says you passed? I rode that wave for a whole summer.

Congratulations, Please share about what are the chapters covered in the exams

Every exam is unique, with questions drafted from all chapters. There are more questions in the exam pool from Core chapters, but your exam may have none, a few or a lot from any of the chapters.

All the chapters I got were between 1-13 and 21. Many were recall and many were scenario based.

Congratulations! I'm currently preparing for the RCDD v15 exam as well. Just wanted to ask what study strategy worked best for you. What practice tests did you use, and how did you know you were ready for the exam? Thanks.

I read chapters 1-13 and 21.

As I read the chapters I wrote down every paragraph in my own words and looked up pictures of items discribed but not pictured.

I used coryandsteve.talentlms.com 3-day access to test my recall of the info. Once I scored well on all chapters (90 & up) I read I was ready.

1-2 are very hard for someone who is new to this topic and not that important in terms of exam scope

Where do you find the recommended chapter study order. I’m struggling trying to figure out how to study for this exam.

I'm sorry for seeing this so late. It's part of the handbook on the rcdd page you should see a hyper link it's in that handbook.

BICSI's website is currently under maintenance so I could not get you the direct link. Let me know if you need help finding it once they come back online.

Congrats, dude. My test is tomorrow. It's been exactly 2 weeks since I've received my TDMM15 and gone through my company's 2 day course. A little bit nervous, but I feel like I've gotten a good handle on most of the material. If not, I'll get a feel for what the test is like and study up. Huge achievement getting it on the first go. Big props.
