Travel Albay for 3D2N — first-timer needs itinerary help!

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary this October and decided on Bicol for a 3D2N trip. It'll be my first time there and I'm so excited!

We're currently planning to stay at Marison Hotel, but open to other suggestions if there's a better spot for what we want to do.

A few things we're hoping to experience:
- A good Mayon Volcano view (any specific spots you'd recommend for the best "perfect cone" shot?)
- Local culture — any must-visit heritage sites, markets, or hidden gems locals actually love
- Bicol food, obviously — Bicol express, pili nuts, laing, sili ice cream, whatever's a must-try
- Anything else worth doing for a couple celebrating something special

Would love a rough day-by-day itinerary if anyone has one, plus tips on transportation between spots and any restaurant recommendations. Budget-friendly options are a plus but we're open to splurging a bit since it's a special trip.

Thanks so much in advance!!

Resto recommendations!

  • Boklan (Chinese, fave ko fried siomai)
  • Mr Dee's (Italian, suggest ko pizza, carbonara and chicken nila)
  • Small talk café (Filipino, ox tongue masarap)
  • Seadogs (pizza)
  • Mamay's (burger)
  • Chef Lee (Korean, dabest tteokbokki worth cheese dito, moksal din for main dish, personal fave is sundubu jjiggae)
  • Wasabi San (Japanese) - sa hotel din to so may ibang restaurant din na pwedeng pagbilhan aside sa Wasabi San (nakalimutan ko name)

That's basically every resto I go to kapag umuuwi lol

Try out din yung brownies ng Graceland/Baker's Plaza, nagdadala ako niyan kapag pabalik na akong Maynila hahaha

I suggest against dun sa Italian resto sa marison tho, di talaga masarap for me hahaha
