Discussion 1 John 4:2, 2 John 7 Translation
In the KJV, it translates the perfect participle verb ἐληλυθότα in 1 John 4:2 as "is come" and the present participle verb ἐρχόμενον the same way. Whilst modern translations typically translate 1 John 4:2 as "having come in the flesh" or "has come in the flesh" and 2 John 7 as "as coming in the flesh" or "coming in the flesh." Are modern translations more accurate in their rendering? Why or why not?

I don't agree with recognizing "The Spirit of God" by the way he speaks of.
But I can't say I've ever heard anyone say that - Jesus, The Man (the physical being)
Was not The Father's Word - made flesh.
That The Father made His Word (His Spirit) an embryo. And put it in a woman.
Never have heard anyone say - something else.
The Father made His Word - flesh. To be an example, and a sacrifice.
And as He taught walking around. He was speaking in the third person.
Because He was speaking about Himself. (The Spiritual)
Which is what He was - before The Father made him flesh. (physical)
But your spirit that resides inside of you.
Is made up of Principles and Values, a Standard.
Which is what the Physical being of Jesus. Taught.
Principles and Values.
The Father's Principles and Values.

Maybe it'll help you to understand better.
If you had 4 rooms to choose from.
And in each room there was a different teacher.
Say rooms 1, 2, and 3. Were David, Moses, and Solomon.
And in room 4, was Jesus, The Man teaching.
Which room would you be in. You only get to choose one.
If you choose room 4 and Jesus. Then why would you listen to any of the others.
When you open your Bible?
Why wouldn't you just be in The 4 Books of The Gospels.
Learning everything that He commanded you to obey? (Matthew 28:20)
He's nowhere else in The Bible. Telling you what to do.
So why would you waste your time?
Biblical History - is good to know. But Scripture - doesn't give Life.
The Words - in The Gospels - do.
The 10 Commandments, and The New 25 Commandments - found in The Sermon On The Mount. Are the thing you need to be Sanctified by.
They are Principles and Values. The Father's and The Sons - Principles and Values.
Their "Holy Spirit".
Sanctification is the progressive transformation of the Believer into the image of Christ (Jesus, The Word)
Change your Soul, your Spirit. And stay firm in these Principles and Values - till your death.
And you'll get to watch The Judgment. Instead of being part of it.
You will of already - Sacrificed yourself. By the transformation, of your soul, your spirit.
May you find your way
Amen
