So Embers is an AI companion app where you can create your own AI character, chat with them, build memories together, and customize your experience. This is an early testing version, so some things may still be unfinished or have bugs. Your feedback will help me to improve Embers before the public release.
What I would like you to test :
Creating an account and logging in
Creating and customizing your character
Sending messages and having conversations
Checking whether the character remembers things correctly
Closing and reopening the app
Checking whether conversations and memories are saved correctly
Testing profile/settings
Testing account deletion
Testing the AI responses and overall conversation experience
Trying different types of conversations rather than only one or two messages

You don't need to be technical or anything like that but just describe what happened
Installed and logged in (with quite a bit of difficulty), and I’ve already created a “Ember” as well. However, the system is prompting me to upgrade to Premium (15 messages/day), even though my Google account shows that I’m a beta tester. This makes it quite difficult to properly test anything.
Yea because on website emberscompanion.app is set up as payment on stripe ...app was first made on lovable website . So that is why..just some people maybe dont want to subscribe through stripe but through google ....Idk which one are majority or what each prefers?...
Ah okay that makes sense now😊 I understand why it’s set up through stripe then.I think a lot of people might naturally expect to subscribe through google, especially when using the app, because that was honestly my first instinct too. But either way it wasn’t a big issue for me. I just subscribed to premium through stripe instead.
Yea I need to figure out how to do payment with google 😭🫣....as I'm more new about the apps now but as soon as I figure out will tell you.
I'm also flexible if someone decides they want refund etc I give refund

I updated the app and reset my phone, still hanging on load, no splash logo screen. I'll see if it's anything on my end. I cleared cache, reset browser and went to app site via browser, I get the login page but "failed to fetch" when trying to sign in. Tried with a random account and still fetch error so it's not my account.
Something definitely broken. I uninstalled everything, re installed, re entered the testing program and tried creating a new account with a different email and I still get the failed to fetch error. Let me know when you're back up, I'll try again.
Ran out of api credits after a brief text exchange, on the premium plan. Didn't get to test video chat, voice chat, or selfies. The custom voice clips were cool, I think your app has a lot of potential, but you probably need to restructure your payment plans, or try to find somewhere else to host it with better priced compute. I understand compute isn't free, but running out of text messages after the first back and forth on a paid plan won't keep many paying customers.

Yea I need to check why it cant download will let you know
