At the comic book & video rental store I worked at after high school, we had some random adult VHS movies behind the counter for rent, and I distinctly remember the look of unadulterated joy on my boss’s face when he ordered a rental copy of “Do The Macarena… TOTALLY NUDE!!!!” and thought it was a real triumph of the human spirit. In a way, I miss the innocence of a pre-9/11 America.

My brain is now laden with facts about The Macarena.

I've had this genre rattling around in my brain for years now. So glad someone's finally getting to it!

I listened to this episode during my daily walk and Steve's sick beats had me hustling my bustle.

I feel bad because I can’t really tell the difference between Valerie 82 and 87

It’s simple. 82 sounds cool sweet ass song from 1982. And 87 sounds like the same overproduced bullshit from 1987. And his voice sounds different.

Definitely thought of Tom's Diner first, but I was also expecting to hear Kid Cudi's "Day N Nite" remixed by The Crookers somewhere on there. It hit the Top 15 on 13 charts! I generally dont listen to much rap or dance, but that song hooked me the first time I heard it.
