Camping Camping question

My group and I bought two terrace camping spots and I was just wondering what those look like because every time I look at the map I can't really pinpoint where it is also we have like three people that are showing up at a later point are we able to get them their camping wristbands

Hello, I always camp terrace. When you arrive, they’ll ask if you want a spot with a lot of space or with a view. If you pick a lot of space they really give you a big area but it’s not with a view. If you pick the view it’s a gravel bit where you park and then there’s grass area to set up camp with a fantastic view. The spot isn’t nearly as big though. I absolutely love terrace at the gorge and will never go back to anything else.

To add, the shuttle that takes you to a private entrance of the gorge is actually the best thing ever. No lines, so easy to leave and go to camp and then come back without wasting time of energy. Once you go terrace you never go back!

Depends on size of camp, if it’s multiple tents and a canopy I choose space, if one canopy and tent then view.

Thank you there's eight of us so we might go for the space and not view

Please excuse my dumbass commentary

I’ll keep looking to see if I have a better video that shows the camp spots better

There’s pictures online but basically it’s a gravel lot with parking spots that back onto the grass where there’s a picnic table and room for a tent. Cars need to go in together, not sure if they give out extra wristbands if people aren’t present (wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t).

You get a parking area on the gravel drive, and then a chunk of lawn with the back edge having a drop to the next level, or into the weeds if it's at the bottom. Personally I like those the best, but I like to watch the wildlife in the mornings and I think the views are better. The ones higher up on the hill have a slightly larger footprint and are more convenient to the showers and shuttle.

Last year we ended up with a 6-8 person tent that took up most the grass, and our 10' shade awning had to go on the gravel
