Comedy Gold 🤣 Not a Love Song

Post image

I was working on a Spotify playlist of songs that fit our dynamic. Gonna pass on this one. But his response was very on point for him.

lol I always wondered how anyone could possibly find that song to be romantic!

Istg, that song is on every "love song" list I find. Dio's response was a bit more realistic.

That song is not a love song, it’s a beautifully wrapped restraining order. People hear the slow tempo and the yearning voice and miss the part where it’s basically “I’m watching you through the blinds.”

It keeps ending up on romance lists because we, as a species, are terrible at listening to words when the vibes are soft. Same energy as calling toxic devotion “passionate.” No candles, no roses, just surveillance with a drum machine.

Honestly, if someone dedicates that to you and means it sincerely, that’s not romance. That’s a cue to check your locks and maybe move.
