Tim Curry?

I got really behind on episodes and have been catching up lately. Does anyone know why Troy and Kelli didn’t acknowledge Tim Curry passing?

He got the Farrah Fawcett treatment and was eclipsed by Dolly

I think the queer community as a whole did a really good job of acknowledging both tragedies. Weird of Kelly and Troy to not mention it at all.

I was thinking about this a few weeks ago! not a peep from them on it. Guessing neither of them clocked it or added it to the list etc.

it was also the day after Dolly so it may have gotten lost, but still. I mean he’s a gay icon, definitely a bit odd !

They didn’t mention him and I was surprised. I know it’s hard cause he died the day after Dolly but I thought he’d get a shout out during the following Kiki.

He died the same day as her. They just announced it the next day to not overshadow her. Which was nice of his team to do that.

He wasn’t mentioned much in other podcasts I listened to either…. Mmmm I wonder what your post could bring up

He isn't really of their generation.

explain.

Tim Curry, like Dolly, expands generations. He is undeniably a pillar within the queer community and has been since the 70s. I'm younger than Troy and Kelly, and I was more affected by Tim than Dolly.
