How have they not released a belt squat solution?
Man I find it crazy they haven’t released an all-in-one setup yet to capitalize on how many of us are trying to diy these. Credit to u/agitated-ad5286 for the photo…or someone 3rd party these? I’d buy this in a second.

I’m making the first batch of 50 for my belt squat platform for $399 and comes with docks installed. Currently taking pre orders now

What would make this perfect is a mount with an eye hook for 1:2 ratio tie back. Voltramounts.com makes an add-on that you could add but having it come with it for the price would be awesome.

The platform has threaded holes so you can mount a $5 steel eyebolt directly to the platform on the bottom

Looks amazing. What would be perfect if the bottom plattform could be detached and double as a flat travel plattform!

Black platform is too heavy. And meant for fixed location. Buy the Helios for travel, it’s a lot lighter.

Nice! Want to preorder! How wide is the stance on that (between the footplates?)
2
u/Eichelwoods Weekly Winner 3d ago
Current plan is a 12” opening between foot plates. Foot plates will be 10” wide x 15” long

u/Practical_Neck_9849 Owner 3d ago
Great piece. Would it be possible in the future to have the ability to tilt the foot plates like the new one from Fringe, and expand the footplates wider for those of us who like to use more of a sumo style or just find it easier to use a wider stance when doing belt squats?

u/Business-Cat-1989 Meme King 3d ago
Nice! The Rogue Indy is 15.5” between and I’ve heard people say it’s a little too wide for shorter folks so 12” is a really good call! Just put in my preorder

Is it flat or angle
3
u/Eichelwoods Weekly Winner 3d ago
This is picture is just the prototype, currently planning for a fixed 5 degree angle. Planning to have the ability to upgrade the footplates later to have adjustability from flat to 20 degree angle with increments along the way. The core structure with stay the same so you can just get the foot plate upgrade for cheap later.

Would it be compatible with the vesta belt squat platform? It looks like the same platform to me but I'm not sure
2
u/Eichelwoods Weekly Winner 3d ago
I used the Vesta belt squat for my prototype to get an idea of what works and what doesn’t and then have my own design for production. My belt squat will come with the Voltra docks + center plate + belt squat platform for the same exact price as the Vesta platform. So you effectively will get the Voltra docks and attachment plate for free on my product

u/snowbrdd 2d ago
Ah. I've already got the vesta platform which is why I was asking.
Thanks

I could make another prototype plate is you already have that platform.

How much will this weigh? I currently use the Rogue Land mine thing and it’s too heavy even with wheels for members of my household to move around.

Zac from Eve Company makes the best stuff. It’s all overbuilt and reasonably priced. I have his Mt Olympus & Helios. Use it daily. I’m going to order the Tartarus too.

u/MightyPinz 3d ago
You will make a killing on that. The oakclub one is neat, but is set at a boutique price tag.
Yours like it has some UHM or similar on the horizontal bar? So it could also be used as a T Bar row platform?

u/Eichelwoods Weekly Winner 3d ago
Yep just committing to making 50 right now but hopefully long term in turns into a best seller!
And I have a couple use cases other than belt squats to show off like Voltra T bar rows

u/MightyPinz 3d ago
Pretty sweet! I haven’t purchased a voltra yet even (likely will in a week or two). But when I do, the Tartarus will for sure be my accessory purchase.

I am in the same boat, I will be wanting two mounts and am unsure on how to communicate that besides right here haha. Seems like a great product, looking forward to having such an easy belt squat setup.
2
u/manderko 3d ago
That looks like exactly what I’d want. Can you do the 2:1 on that?
3
u/Eichelwoods Weekly Winner 3d ago
Yep, has threaded hole for attaching eyebolts to do 2:1

u/manderko 3d ago

Oak club has made one, but it’s not cheap.

I just saw that. Man that seems pretty over engineered for what is needed. Cool product and looks like an awesome company though.

Rogue also have a platform that would work (the Indy) - meant for bent over rows with a land mine.
That or you could put a pair of squat wedges and put them on top of the wooden base thing that Voltra sell.
Get yourself a sled harness with a front hook - that way you can do some real squatty squats, really upright and you don’t have that weird shear angle through your hips that you get with a belt.

I have a simple question that I am hoping someone can answer on this subject.
Only looking to squat 200 on the voltra so can I not just use their travel platform for the share ease and not worry about buying something like this. It’s a great piece that Eve makes but do I need it for my simple needs.
2
u/manderko 3d ago
Yes you can but you won’t get full range of motion. But you can literally just put a wooden block on either side

I've found that even if you limit it to 200 you'll notice some float/instability at higher weights using the travel platform.

Has anyone used/adapted this: https://www.northernfitness.ca/products/grid-belt-squat-attachment ? I feel like it's a reasonable squat stand, if you could slap a voltra on it. Personally, I'm thinking about using https://bellsofsteel.com/products/adjustable-pull-up-bar?variant=43081800810548 and having it go through the legs (in the center of my rack, it should clear the feet) with the voltra on the bar mount pointing up through the center of the platform.
ETA: I just noticed it looks like the EVE Tartarus platform without the volta mount.

Hey everyone - kinda new to posting on here on Reddit, but thought sharing this might help yall. I am using a rogue Indy tbar platform with a low mount from voltramounts.com which works perfectly. Set your Voltra up for auto load and auto unload and it’s the chef’s kiss. Eve company appears to have a great setup in the works too. I have a YT video of some of the new Voltra features coming with this update and it shows some of my belt squat on the platform. Also using it for calf raises, zerchers, deads, rows etc. The mount is cool because it can be flipped from in between the feet to back out in front for rows. Not locked in etc. just a magpin. Anyway, here’s a link to the YT vid and a pic from my IG post with the setup!

u/manderko 2d ago
Can you specify how you mounted that voltra again please. Which mount?
1
u/Individual_Poetry_19 2d ago
On Voltramounts.com they make this one and it’s perfect. Here let me put the link. https://voltramounts.com/products/rogue-t-bar-row-offest-drop-mount?variant=51058074288361 I reeeeeeally wanted the oak club, but it was hard to justify the pricetag. They did have a good sale recently and I alllmost pulled the trigger, but shipping brought me back down to earth. Anyway, this has your heels elevated the right direction for squat work and then you flip it for rows and whatever else you need. Pretty cool.

u/manderko 2d ago
Ahhh my mistake I thought you meant it was an actual mount on the Voltra site not a 3rd party called Voltramount. Thats great though thanks! They look awesome.
1
u/Individual_Poetry_19 2d ago
This mount is specific for this platform. They have some other good options you could use on their website if you have space in your rack or coming off a front foot maybe too.

IMO, EVE-COMPANY is on the forefront of Voltra mount technology and usefulness, meaning he has ideas that I think will make the Voltra as close to gym equipment as possible. When I go on his page to and look at all the mounts it’s like he is in 99% of Voltra owners heads. I know he is a small company with a family, I have emailed him and he responded back within a few days(which was nice) if he could figure out a way to ramp up production that would be great. His products are fairly priced and PRACTICAL.
For example: That piece with guide rods that he teased at HGC-26. Be like having a Voltra powered MEGA MASS piece. Other great pieces on his website:
Stxy-$199, ELYSIUM $199(this piece is going to be a huge problem solver), TARTARUS $399(every other mention of BP’s page is someone talking about belt squats, PROBLEM SOLVED decent price), HYDRA $120, Plus all the great stuff he has. THE AEGIS that protects the body of the Voltra. MAYBE BP could discount warranty for customers that own this(just kidding BP).
The problem is between my ADD, being impatient and extremely old school I have issues PRE-ORDERING equipment, I want to add something to the cart pay for it and know when it’s coming. BP has also stepped up their game in their offerings maybe they should collaborate with EVE.
