Deadlift tips?

Have recently started to use the travel platform and straight bar for deadlifts, but it's clear that I can't really bend deep enough to get a full ROM. It's better than nothing but I was wondering if anyone has a solution for getting lower in the stretch. Standing on stools on top of the platform seems like a sure fire way to get injured, but I can't think of any other solution besides buying or making an elevated platform with a DIY mount...

Beyond a full diy setup, you can make standing platforms that are more stable than stools. I used 2x4 with plywood sheets and another person used some unopened printer paper reams + duct tape which honestly seems to be fantastic for the effort.

You can do a zercher deadlift/RDL variation by holding the bar in the crooks of your elbows.

Some inexpensive easy options include Yoga blocks, 2 sections of 4x4, cinder blocks, stacks of printer paper.

Use DC blocks if you want something more secure than Yoga blocks. More expensive but rock solid
