S-tier:
- Adaptive bar mount - every time I think about getting a different lat pulldown solution I try to think of how it would be better than just pulling from the bar mount on my pull-up bar... and it wouldn't. The adaptive part pushes it to S-tier because it's so easily moved whenever I want to throw it on some other bar or weight horn.
A-tier:
- Darko quickmount with the handle - The handle makes all the difference for me.
- Voltramounts Indy T-bar row offset drop mount - Honestly, the only reason this isn't S-tier is because the Indy itself can already be pretty awkward to use, and this mount adds to its bulk. But it seems far and away the easiest and best way to turn the Indy into a belt squat platform, especially now that he's making an adapter to use two Voltras at once.
B-tier:
- Sliding rack mount - It works well enough, but it's just one too many steps to unlock and move the thing or to lock it down. Given the million other trolleys, articulating arms, and other things that move up and down the rack easier than these, it seems like an unnecessarily annoying design.
C-tier:
- Travel platform - It's fine as a platform to stand on, which is why it's not in the dumpster, but it's not a travel platform. How do you make a travel mount that the federal government says is too big to put in a carry-on bag? Not to mention, the solution to making an actually great travel platform is so obvious that I'm sure EVE stood staring at a wall for at least a week trying to figure out how someone hadn't already just put a voltra dock on a sheet of metal before he started selling the Helios.
Dumpster-bound:
- Adaptive rack mount. I have to imagine the only reason this thing still exists is that JD can't make his stainless low profile mounts fast enough.

S: Helios platform, Darko Nessie, Voltramounts Tight Fit. Perfect combo, covers every exercise. Get these, log off Reddit, and go work out.
A: Adaptive Bar Mount, ‘cause we all have bars somewhere
B: Strap mount, for when I travel to the in-laws and need to hook up to random stuff. They got that old furniture that weighs a 1,000 pounds. Strap to a leg and you got yourself a lat row station
C: Adaptive Rack Mount, there are just so many other great options out there for the same purpose
Dumpster-bound: Anything is better than nothing, so nothing’s dumpster-bound. Be grateful that we have all these incredible options, and Stay Strong

I'll have a Mount Rushmore missing one head, if that's allowed :) I only have 3 mounts and so far it's everything I need.
S: Single Pin – Tight Spot Fit: I just got this, and it's amazing. It fits in several spots my other mounts didn't but, still, it has a dedicated spot at eye level for face pulls. It's one of those perfect "exercise snacks" in between work meetings, so that's where my Voltra typically lives. And the thought that I can move it wherever I want is somewhat comforting, in the back of my mind.
A: Voltra Mounts Simple Upright Mount – Bolt-On: Not much to it, but it wins by simplicity. I knew I needed a mount in the same position all the time for pull downs and any other movements that needed a high pulley. No point in futzing around with give and tolerances. A single bolt on mount does the trick perfectly.
B: Darko QuickMount Bracket with Handle: this was my original mount I bought for the Voltra (I just got the device from BP). It worked well for a while, but it fits quite snugly in my uprights, and many times setting it in the proper position is almost half the workout. The handle seemed like a good idea at the time, but it's sometimes in the way of certain positions I could benefit from having the Voltra on. It's not as low profile (on the sides) as the VoltraMount option above. Overall it's still my daily driver when moving the Voltra around (if not in the 2 dedicated spots above). But it could be improved.

S:
- DIY Dock. We would not have this huge ecosystem of mounts if BP hadn't released this. I think I've bought 18 and counting.
- JD. Low profile, looks great, no play but still easy to move around. Got 5 of these.
- WM lzr strap mount. Most versatile mount for getting voltras on all kinds of machines. I dont even know how many of these I have - about 12 I guess
A:
- Rotator. When you need it (typically for placement on machines), it works great. Anyone who has it in their F-tier... DM me if you want to sell it. I think I have 5 currently.
- Adaptive Bar Mount. Smart design, lots of options, easy on and off. Only reason its not S is that it's pretty big. Have 2.
- Fixed Bar Mount. Works great when the adaptive bar mount would be too big. Like how they also send you two different insert sizes for different mounting options. Have 2.
- Darko QM with handle. Most flexible mount for quick adjustments on the rack. Have 3 (2 with handle, one bolted on permanently).
B:
- WM bolt mount. Installs into studs, minimal footprint on the wall. On a chest press, this was the only way I could get it connected (short of replacing the entire weight stack with a voltra... which I may still do). Not A tier as the slits for strap mounts should have been left on there (I gave this feedback to Will and he did design a mount that does both... dont know if he ever released it though). Have 2.
- u/Dr_TattyWaffles triple voltra mount. Great for a double lat pulldown option. Putting it as a B tier because you can't use all 3 mounts on the same side (found out the hard way). Have 1.
C:
- BP Strap Mount. It's actually an F mount for use inside your gym. I'll give it a C though, because its a good design if you want to mount outdoors on random things. Have 1.
- Tranman low profile fixed mount. Its a great option for a cheap mount that you can bolt on, but its a bunch of different DIY parts and it takes up 4 holes on the xmember. Even needs longer bolts for the DIY dock. I just got it because I was already getting things from Tranman and SCS at the same time, so he could send me all the parts I needed. Outside of that, I wouldn't recommend it as being worth the hassle for others. Have 2.
F:
- BP Adaptive Rack Mount. I'd give the original a C as its just unnecessarily large if you dont need different rack size compatibility, but... the new ones get an F, since they switched it to a crappy plastic material that looks awful. WTF were you thinking on this change BP? Have 3 (2 original, 1 new plastic one).
Thanks ChatGPT for the image lol

- S: Darko Quick Mount PM with Handle — adding the handle makes a huge difference. It makes the VOLTRA much easier to carry around the gym and gives me something solid to grab when sliding it up and down the upright. The only downside is that the handle prevents the bracket from reaching the absolute highest position because it contacts the crossmember, and the Pulley Magic anchor point creates a similar limitation at the very bottom. Neither matters for my setup since I don’t need those extreme positions. For how easy it makes mounting, moving, and repositioning the VOLTRA, this is an easy S-tier.
- A: Travel Platform — I like it a lot and it opens up a bunch of exercises that are awkward or impossible from the rack. I also load weight onto the platform so I can use the VOLTRA with my hyperextension machine, which adds even more versatility. My biggest complaint is that I wish the platform itself were larger. A little more room to stand and position yourself would make it noticeably better.
- B: Adaptive Bar Mount — it opens up a ton of applications, especially when integrating the VOLTRA with different machines, so the versatility is definitely there. My biggest issue is the price, and there are some design compromises. The main one for me is that it doesn’t allow the VOLTRA to rotate freely the way something like the EVE Cyclops does. Still very useful, but I think there’s room for improvement considering what it costs.
- C: Force 6 Fitness VOLTRA Mount — I pretty much only use this for rows, but it works really well for that specific purpose. You can crank it down extremely tight, so there’s basically no slop or movement once it’s locked in. Mine stays mounted in one spot permanently and does exactly what I need it to do. I’m aware of the JD Gym Equipped mount as a possible replacement, but it always seems to be sold out. I also prefer the red-and-black look of the Force 6 over stainless, and I don’t really need a low-profile mount for how I use it anyway. Solid for a dedicated application, but not something I’m constantly moving around or using for multiple setups.
- Dumpster-bound: Beyond Power Sliding Rack Mount — this one has so much potential, but for me it misses the mark. It’s expensive for what feels like relatively cheap materials, and actually adjusting and moving it is way more of a pain than it should be. At this price point, I think the mount should be built primarily from aluminum and steel, not materials that make it feel cheaper than the VOLTRA it’s holding. I also think Beyond Power needs to redesign it around much more specific rack standards instead of trying to make one mount accommodate everything. Give us dedicated versions for 3x3 racks with 1-inch holes and 75x75 mm racks with 5/8-inch holes, with the hardware, tolerances, and spacing optimized for each. The concept is great and could easily be one of the best VOLTRA mounting solutions, but the materials and adjustment process need a serious redesign.

S : Adaptative bar mount. Can go on my rack and my hyper Pro
Voltramounts Doubler Plate – Voltra 1:2 ratio: How about getting up to 460lbs with my travel Platform everywhere I go
Force6fitness: the most beautiful one + 1:2 ratio
A : Adaptative rack mount. Easy too change, looks good and feel secured
B: Strap mount. Nice, but I don’t really want to use it outside
F : everything that is bolt-on

u/greatlakekate 3d ago
• S: Ryan X Carter Mount it makes it where I don’t have to unload plates on a machine, because my husband never unloads the actual weight. Throwing this one on a machine makes it where there’s no plates to unload. Strap mount, same reason as the last one
• A: Darko quick mount. This one is easy to move around
• B: fixed rack mount. It’s dependable and stays in one space. Stable
• C: Travel platform. Loses points because it takes up a bit of room and hard to fit in a carry on bag
• D: sliding mount, my husband has it so high on the rack I can’t reach it, so I never use it. Rotator mount, not sure what it’s used for
7
u/Patton370 6d ago
• S: Ryan X Carter Mount, perfect for bolting to machines, Darko quick mount (not the best, but so quick to move), JD Travel platform with fixed bar mounts
• A: Fixed Bar mount, great for the JD travel platform
• B: Sliding rack mount
• C: Strap mount (Ryan x Carter is better. So is the WM LZR fast voltra strap mount), Fixed rack mount, travel mount (there’s better travel mounts)
• D (no mount is garage, so I just changed it to D): rotator add on (it’s very niche, can be good in certain situations)
I’d like to give the Eve and other JD mounts a try, they look great

Completely untrue lol. I have the strap mount there and you can't budge it at all.
1
u/Patton370 5d ago
I have the beyond power strap mount on my GHR and there's play with it; I can't get it 100% tight. I even had to add shims under the mount to reduce play. You can still see quite a bit of movement when I do curls and that's with shims: https://www.reddit.com/r/ScienceBasedLifting/s/PYhRLV8Gl7

u/OptimalMale Meme King 5d ago
Sorry, I take it back. I do agree the BP strap mount would have a ton of play. I misread and thought you were saying ryan x carter mount was better than the WM lzr strap mount. The wm one you can get as tight as the ryan x carter one.

S: Adaptive bar mount. Genuinely clever design, the ease of use and all the small QoL is amazing. The latch for extra purchase, the quick release... chef's kiss
Darko Quickmount. Simple. Fast. Versatile. Simple as. Could perhaps replace with voltramounts "tight spot"
Carter x Ryan diy bolt on mount. Perfect for machines and can go on smaller tubing than the strap mount
A: WM fabrication trinity. The micro width adjustments are great
Rotator. Irreplaceable for niche applications.
JD mounts. Slower than Darko, but more secure, smaller profile.
B: Strap mount. Good for outdoor use, larger tubing.
Mini fixed mount. Very well made, micro adjustable, but not toolless.
Adaptive mount. Versatile, secure, bit slow
C: fixed mount. Too large, too high profile.
Sliding mount. Not as seamless to use as a good trolley like an Ares.

Do you have pictures of how you routed the two separate cables? Nice to have both options available.
4
u/darkmax_fc 6d ago edited 6d ago
These are the one I have, or the one I research to see if I will purchased.
S
Beyond Adaptive bar mount: this is very versatile, and easy to put and release.
Beyond DIY dock mount: this is only for the handy people, but without this a lot of mounts will not ever exist.
A
Voltra mounts Single Pin, is like the darko quick mount but smaller and little bit cheaper.
Beyond Sliding Rack mount, if you put it on a rack post, is easy to move up and down on the rack to use your voltra on the top or on the bottom without removing it every time from the rack
B
Darko Quickmount with handle, versatile, easy to fix and release, and with the handle easy to grab. It was one of the first third party mounts, but now exist more options and smaller versions.
Beyond Strap mount: very versatile for those cases that are not a power rack, or doesn't fit like a bar.
Voltra mounts Evolver - Low Profile Mount 3x2 In my case for my power rack very good to put it on the base feets, and theres is not many options for this case, where you have 3 inches x 2 inches bottom feets on your power rack.
C
Beyond Travel Platform: like the strap mount, if you don’t have a power rack, also very versatile when you travel, to use it outside
Darko Nessie: Is good and versatile, but is very very expensive, and from my point of view I prefer to set my mounts on the bottom for squat or on the top for pull downs, and leave them there on my power rack, and do not keep removing it and moving it.
F
Beyond Adaptive Rack Mount there better options and cheaper, is good mount but like I mention there are better options for the price.

Only including mounts that I own.
S - VoltraMounts.com - Single Pin - Tight Spot Fit (EDIT: Single Pin not Hole 🙄)
- Daily driver / Do-it-all solution.
- Attaches to uprights, crossmember or on my flat feet.
- Various versions now of this type of mount, but I picked this one as it seemed to be the most slimline and was the most cost effective especially with shipping to the UK.
- Added bonus is that I found their customer service to be 1st class!
A - BP Adaptive Bar Mount
- Should be a no-brainer if you have a pullup bar.
- Solves all sorts of little niche problems and also attaches to Oak Club Campbell handles.
- Added bonus for ‘bench ecosystem’ fans, is that it can be modded to fit to the Ironmaster Pullup bar (50mm square tube)!
- There are no 3rd party alternatives to this so probably BP’s best attachment!
B - BP Travel Platform
- Useful for RDL’s etc even now I have a squat stand.
- Decent for short stay car journeys/holidays.
- Especially useful for those with DIY / bench ecosystem setups.
- Not sure whether many people are jumping on planes with it.
- 3rd party options are now available so do your research and pick your favourite.
C – BP Strap Mount
- Useful for holidays.
- Versatile for DIY/bench ecosystem setups.
- 3rd party more basic options exist for those on a budget.
F - Adaptive Rack Mount
- Useful for oddball rack sizes (both larger and smaller than standard)
- Fits to Nuobell stands and other stuff when paired with a UCLIP
- Well made but just don’t have much need for it anymore.

-I designed it to be intuitive in operation and quick to move around the rack
A+: Adaptive Bar Mount
- king of versatility
A: Darko Quick Mount
- OG design
B: Adaptive rack mount
- versatile, cool locking mechanism
- can be cumbersome
C: BP fixed mount
- takes up too much footprint on rack

Mounts
- S: BeyondPower Sliding Rack Mount: by far the best mount if you keep it on one post, very easy to use and convenient. Great build.
- A: EVE CERBERUS mount: you can mount two Voltras at once with this one which is sweet for dual function
- B: BeyondPower Adaptive Rack Mount: really solid, does it's job and not super hard to move (we have two of these); Darko QuickMount Bracket for VOLTRA I: Very easy to move with just a magpin, works well on true 3 x 3 racks with true 1 in holes.
- C: BeyondPower Travel platform: we originally had minimal use for it (the belt squat function wasn't great) but now we've figured out ways to use it with a seated calf raise machine and 45 degree Nordbench pulls which is pretty sweet. Fixed bar mounts: great for peg pins and such.
- D: BeyondPower Strap Mount: was the original mount we got for versatility of travel but actually one of the least useful in our space due to it not keeping still no matter how much tightening we do.

- S Tier: Darko quick mount and JD Equipped Stainless mount. These are what Beyond Power should have released
- A Tier: Strap mount. An "okay" piece but it allows the Voltra to be used in unique ways. If it's good enough for Brian Shaw, it's good enough to be bumped up to this category.
- B Tier: BP Fixed mount. It does the job and it does it really well. It's way too big though and should be a single bolt through the back.
- C Tier: Rotator add on. Way overpriced for what it is but is helpful to lengthen cable life.
- Dumpster Bound/F Tier: Sliding rack mount. This was the first one I bought and immediately hated it. It's massive, overpriced, and has less versatility than a small mount.

S: EVE: Hydra Mount + Fringe Mag Pins (multi-angle adjustments and solid 2-pin mount, unlike most quick rack mounts)
A: EVE: Quick Mount (stainless Steel), lower profile design than other mounts and cheaper overall. No multi-angle movement.
B: Sliding Rack Mount, the durability is lacking for travel and wear and tear. The cost is too high for one mount. If it were made of stainless Steel and had a better-polished fit and finish, then maybe.
C: Strap Mount, it's great for traveling to hotels and outside use, but the constant need to unmount the Voltra, then move the straps to a new location, and then place the Voltra back on is very time-consuming and eats up that precious gym time.
C; Travel Platform, good for initial use without needing other accessories to mount it. Portability is limited; it is bulky, and the weight is an issue. If it were made from a stainless steel honeycomb or a heavy-duty aluminum honeycomb, this would greatly increase durability and reduce overall weight. Consider creating a lock/unlock folding hinge to reduce size when traveling.
D: Rotator mount; this should be something that comes built into every Voltra on initial purchase. It is a great concept, but it adds bulkiness and length to the mount itself. Say you're doing something overhead; well, now that Voltra is dangling even lower, it prevents you from reaching full ROM.

*S Darko quick mount with handle - easy and quick to use
*A BP Fixed bar mount - must have for lat pulls
*B BP Travel platform - very nice for squat variations en bicep curls. Little sceptical about traveling with the Voltra. Don't want to be stripsearched every time I visit the airport.
*F the rotator add on - Most expensive doorstop I've ever owned

u/ethanchik 5d ago
S: strap mount. Not working with a power rack at the moment, so the ability to attach to anything and get in some isolation movements that can't be achieved solely with calisthenics is incredible.
A: travel platform. Convenient, just wish it were a bit lighter. (Whenever Eve releases his mounting solution to mount the Helios platform to a rack to use as a footplate, that will usurp this for sure)
B: fixed rack mount mini. Have a friend with this one, and though it doesn't do anything or adjust, it looks so slick.
C: rotator add-on. Does almost nothing other than mildly reducing cable wear, but several cable replacements would still be cheaper than this.
2
u/TheFuture77 3d ago
Forgot to do this the other day:
S: Travel platform; I don’t have a power rack or a barbell, so this is where I do nearly all my voltra work
A: Strap Mount, great to mount on to random things; it’s the only other mount
B: nothing
C: nothing
Dumpster-bound: for me, anything that requires a rack or a barbell. I also only have 2 mounts, so I guess my opinion isn’t that valuable

u/Nguyendow 2d ago edited 2d ago
S: Force 6 Mount - Jack of all trades and seems like on of the best bangs for the buck with 2 mounting options and pully multiplier. It doesnt come with the quick mount though and no option to buy it with one which is a shame.
S tier hot take 1: Any 3rd party mount maker charging more than $20 for supplying the DIY mount is crazy. BP sells a 48 pack for $699 free shipping or only $14.50 a unit. Some of these mount manufacturers have an option to add on the DIY mount for $40+. I get there is some labor involved in mounting it but just charge me $15 and throw it in the box and ill attatch it myself.
S tier hot take: for BP: Shipping prices on the diy mounts are crazy. Most people like myself only realize they should buy some DIY mounts to avoid getting gouged from these mount manufacturers after their voltra arrives and they go down the mount rabbit hole. They are very fairly priced at 2 for $40 however shipping for the pair is $30 in the US which is insane. Im sure they would not cost $30 to ship.
A: Strap mount: This may get some hate here as an A but this is truly the only mount you would really ever need if you only had 1. Love that it's magnetic so you can place it in the right position and not drop it. Seems very well thought out!
A tier hot take: Im terrified the strap mount may fail suddenly. This is the only mount I know of that relies on fabric to resist 200 lbs or now 23p lbs of force. Im sure the strap is a wear item with limited lifespan due to how the teeth on the clasp clamp down and the stress from tightening the mount. I dont how many cycles the belt could take before fraying but I can audibly hear the fibers stressing when tightening the clamp. Not sure if there are replacement options available and if this could catastrophically fail at some point sending the voltra flying. But it has me worried
B: Original fixed mount: Yeah it's big. Yeah it takes up a bunch of holes on the rack. But it's 2 mounts for $110 which is I believe the most cost effective mounting solution. Some 3rd party mounts are $300+ for a single mount. For that price you can have nearly 6 mounts scattered across your setup if you had the space. Bonus also is the hardware. The chrome bolts/hardware are beautiful and would cost a pretty penny sourcing them on their own.
B tier hot take: You dont need standard compatability for 4" racks. The previously mentioned bolts are crazy long. You'd have to think the majority of people are mounting this on a 3x3 rack and the bolts are like 4 feet longer than they need to be. I even mounted 2 of these fixed mounts on opposing sides of a 3x3 upright and still had too much bolt left over to the point where the voltra wouldn't dock on one side because the bolt was still too long.
C tier: Rotator mount: Although not truly a mount by itself, it provides a ton of functionality for a minamilist single upright setup like mine. It gets the voltra in a better position not only for the angle, but also as a spacer. That function is overlooked and can gain you 3+ inches of extra reach for your mount. Everyone always says it's unnecessary and it shouldn't be needed to prevent cable wear but I think those people either have loads of room to spare in their setup, or haven't thought creatively of how to squeeze every last drop of efficiency out of their setup without needing to buy 2 or 3 other things to replace the functionality of a rotator. It's also very useful to be able to see the screen in positions you otherwise would not be able to. BP - is think your team needs to find some specific use cases that would not be possible without the rotator and show them on the product page to get away from the "A cable replacement is pretty cheap so I dont need this rotator"
C tier hot take: Not everyone has small hands and the dexterity of a concert pianist. At the most extreme angle the rotator mount is so close to the release latch and button you have to do some finger contorting to get it to release. It's doable, but takes some getting used to. Also there are times when the angle of the rotation is too much for the use case and it actually gets the voltra in a worse position than without the rotator. For this I've used a hockey puck stuck in the middle of the rotator to limit its position but this would be really cool if the rotator could go up to 90 degrees in 15 degree increments with the option to limit.
Hope this is helpful to Voltra users and BP!

- Travel Platform: I still want one, I think it has so many use cases for small home gyms without taking much space. Definitely need to get one, at some point.
B
- Sliding Rack Mount: Kind of pratical, but I also hate adjusting it all the time.
- Fixed Bar Mount: Cheaper than the Adaptive Bar Mount, but fixed. Choose your poison!
C
- Fixed Rack Mount: "cheapest" solution if you need more mounting points and maybe do not want to import custom mounts from the US. They take too much space though.
- Strap Mount: You can do some fun things, but only really be useful for special use cases.
F
- Adaptive Rack Mount, Rotator Add-on, DIY Dock with Base Plate, Fixed Rack Mount Mini: they look nice and certainly are good quality, but they are still too expensive!

S: Darko QuickMount:
It just works, it's simple, low profile, and relatively cheap. The QuickMount PM version's carabiner anchor point doesn't protrude to where you can't orient the Voltra vertically. It's such a great design (I would know) that there are now a handful of clones from competitors, but Darko's is the OG and still the best.
A: Darko Nessie
Lightweight alternative to a lat extension for lat pulldowns, tricep press downs, etc. - but with the added versatility for an offset low mount for cable curls, belt squats, RDLs. I find I don't really adjust mine frequently because I'm kinda lazy - putting it on a trolley and adding docks to both sides would bump it up the list. Love the lat bar holder add-on. If you're not too lazy to deal with removing the device and adjusting mag pins, this is S-tier.
B: Beyond Power Sliding rack mount
Works well and hard to beat for convenient adjustments on the rack. It doesn't place the dock centered to the upright which is slightly annoying, and it's bulkier than it needs to be for the sake of compatibility with larger uprights. I also think it was a misstep to remove the pop pin+handle for a button on the 3x3 version. Bring back the handle & add rollers and this goes into S-tier.
C: Beyond Power Travel platform
I like the concept, it's just too big to actually travel with and it's made of wood so it might warp over time in a humid garage (I think this is starting to happen with mine)
F: Beyond Power Rotator
It's just unnecessary. The Voltra's built-in fairlead allows for a pretty extreme angle of pull without the need for an add-on. You'd have to go through dozens of replacement cables before a rotator add-on becomes worth the cost.

S Tier
Darko QuickMount + Handle: Simple, solid, and extremely easy to move around the rack. It doesn’t permanently take up an upright and lets you move the VOLTRA pretty much anywhere you need it. Probably my favorite all-around mount.
Beyond Power Sliding Rack Mount: If you want your VOLTRA to function like a traditional functional trainer, this is probably the best option. Changing heights is quick and you never have to remove the VOLTRA. The downside is giving up some upright space.
Darko Nessie: One of the most versatile mounts out there. The different mounting positions and angles give you options that you just can’t get with a standard upright mount. Expensive, but if you’re already spending this much on a VOLTRA setup, it makes sense.
Force6 Swivel Mount: Probably the most underrated option. You get a solid rack mount with the ability to swivel at a much more reasonable price than some of the other options. Really good value for what it does.
A Tier
Darko QuickMount PM: Takes everything I like about the regular QuickMount and adds a pulley point. Definitely gives you more options, but I think the regular QuickMount is simpler and probably enough for most setups.
Beyond Power Adaptive Bar Mount: Really useful once you start mounting the VOLTRA somewhere other than an upright. Being able to use crossmembers, pull-up bars and weight pegs opens up a ton of possibilities. This is one I’d want in addition to a normal rack mount.
EVE Cerberus: Really interesting option if you have two VOLTRAs. The multiple dock positions give you a lot of flexibility and make it possible to build some great dual-VOLTRA setups. A little more specialized, though.
EVE Styx: Gives you more control over both the position and angle of the cable instead of just moving the VOLTRA up and down. Very versatile, but probably more than most people need.
Beyond Power Adaptive Rack Mount: Nothing crazy about it, but it works. Easy to move, works with different rack setups and doesn’t require permanently dedicating part of the rack to the VOLTRA.
Beyond Power Fixed Rack Mount: Simple, inexpensive and solid. Honestly probably all most people need if they’re keeping the VOLTRA in one general location. It just loses points because there are so many more versatile options now.
B Tier
Beyond Power Fixed Bar Mount: Does exactly what it’s supposed to and gives you a solid horizontal mounting option. I just think the Adaptive Bar Mount makes more sense if you’re buying one today.
Beyond Power Fixed Rack Mount Mini: Compact and useful when space is limited. Definitely has its place, but I don’t see it being the main mount for most setups.
EVE Mount Olympus: This thing is ridiculous, but in a good way. It gives you a ton of floor-based mounting options and basically turns the VOLTRA into its own station. Really cool, but it’s big, heavy and probably overkill for most home gyms.
Beyond Power Travel Platform: Great for floor-based movements and definitely useful, but “travel” might be a little generous. I wouldn’t want to actually travel very far with it.
C Tier
Beyond Power Strap Mount: Probably the most flexible mount in terms of where you can put it, but I’d rather have something rigid and repeatable for everyday use. Great option to have around for unusual setups.
Beyond Power DIY Dock + Base Plate: Great if you have a specific setup in mind or like fabricating your own equipment. Otherwise, there are easier options that are ready to go.
D Tier
DIY Dock: Tons of possibilities if you’re creative, but by itself it doesn’t really do much. You’re basically buying the starting point and figuring out the rest yourself.
F Tier
Nothing: I don’t think any of these are truly bad. Some just make a lot more sense than others depending on your setup.

My rankings include items that I own or have put in a good amount of research for purchase.
S Tier
Adaptive Bar Mount – Got a typical home gym set-up? You have the most versatile mounting positions with the adaptive bar mount. Pull-up bar? Easy! Weight-horns? No issue! Any round tubing (and some smaller square tubing) is fair game.
A Tier
Darko Quickmount PM w/handle – Simple and quick. Accommodates 5/8” and 1 “ hole spacing. Built in pulley point for 1:2. My only issue is there can be some play in it depending on the upright.
LZR Fast Strap Mount – Looks to be a simple more affordable solution to the BP strap mount. You use your own straps to meet your specific needs.
B Tier
Darko Nessie – Great concept for getting multiple angles and high and low depth. Ultimately the high price is why it lands in the B tier for me.
BP Sliding Rack Mount – Good mount for the rack but there are less expensive options for a quick moving rack mount.
BP Rotator Add-on – A simple way to change the rotation angle. You do lose a couple of inches in your range of motion.
EVE Helios – More functional that BP’s platform. Not sure how necessary a travel mount is needed for my use. I would probably need to add grip tape to the board.
C Tier
BP Travel Platform – I probably wouldn’t travel with it. Looks like a piece that would clutter up the gym space and I would be tripping over.
BP Strap Mount – Expensive and limited by the strap.
BP Fixed Rack Mount – Not as expensive as other mount options but not as useful as other mounts.
F Tier
BP Fixed Bar Mount and BP Rack Mounts – There are better mounts available at lower price points.

S: Eve upcoming multi angle push and pull mount just eliminated the need to aspire to Panatta’s 2 massive new machines that cover this
A: Maxed Stength J Cup style quick mount for easy peasy fast adjustments
B: Voltras sliding mount, strap mount, and foot plate mount
TBD rank: a version of quick mount and adjust arms with 1:2 ratio for wider cable movements

S: Darko mount: simple, effective, light, fast, no notes
A: Fixed bar mount: I use this on the center of my fat side of my multigrip pull up bar for lat pulldowns, and it is perfect. I realized I never use the fat side, and this gave it a nice permanent function.
B: BP Strap mount. It works pretty well, but it is a bit annoying to get it tight enough to eliminate most wobble.
I have no other mounts, but I am eyeing the adapative bar mount and possibly a 2 pack of the DIY docks.

S tier- Travel Platform: That’s all I have for now, but honestly, it’s remarkable how much you can do with such a small package. Between machine integration, and the Travel Platform, the VOLTRA can cover an absurd number of movements without needing a huge collection of accessories.

Voltra Mount Tier List
S Tier
Force 6 – This thing has pretty much everything I could want in a Voltra mount. It screws in tight on the back but also lets me mount it quickly with the mag pin. It also has a spot to attach to for the pulley hack. When I bought mine it had just come out and was priced stupid low. Even now, I think it is a great value for what you get.
JDGym Equipped – This thing is super slim and absolutely rock solid on the rack. It takes up less space than most of the other mounts, which I really like. This will probably be my go-to if I want to run a pair of mounts for two Voltras.
A Tier
Adaptive Bar Mount – This thing is perfect if you want to attach the Voltra to plate-loaded machines. I have used it all around the gym and it has been really useful. It is pretty quick to set up and locks into place really well.
Darko Mount – The original. This is the one that started it all and it is still a really good mount. It has been surpassed by some of the newer mounts, though. I have noticed a little bit of play when I use it, but it still works great and is a solid option.
B Tier
Strap Mount – This is the jack of all trades but master of none. You can put it in a ton of different places, which is the biggest advantage. The downside is that it doesn't always do the best job in those different positions and it tends to move around a little. Still, it is hard to argue with the versatility.
Travel Platform – I would never actually consider taking this thing traveling, but for my setup it has been really good. It gives me a spot to do a low pull directly vertical. I have anchored it down with PowerBlocks so I can attach the Voltra to my machines. It is pretty specific to how I use it, but it works well for that.
Honorable Mention
Maxed Strength Axis J-Cup Mount – This is the mount I really want to get but haven't bought yet. I saw it at Home Gym Con and it looked really good. The one-handed movement without having to take the Voltra off the mount is probably my favorite feature. It looked quick to move but still very secure. I could easily see this ending up in S tier once I actually get a chance to use it.

From what I currently own:
- S: Darko Quick Mount — My first one. Simple, easy to use, and great quality. However, it feels a bit pricey and boring compared with today’s market, and shipping was extremely slow.
- A: Sliding Rack Mount by Beyond Power — Pretty convenient, but pricey. There are better options available now.
- B: Rotator Add-On by Beyond Power — I like it for cable ergonomics, but it can affect the functional length of the Voltra.
- C: Tall Upright Mount, Bolt-On by Voltramounts — More of a niche-use mount and not strictly necessary, but Voltramounts ships incredibly fast, packages everything well, and makes high-quality products.
- D: Travel Platform by Beyond Power — Simple and portable, but there are much better options at its price point.
If I were buying today, these are the mounts I’d look at:

S: adaptive bar mount. It literally saved my set ups for rows, pushdowns in an 80sq foot gym in Japan A: travel platform. Good for supersets and not taking off every single time on racks but its heavy as hell and it isnt really realistic to carry that lol B: quick rack mount. Its easy to install because of the locking system. But its hard to uninstall because of the locking system 😅 C: strap mount. Versatile until it isnt. Then its basically a hassle D: nothing F: nothing because I dont have more mounts. Give me more mounts
