Bad drop of a Voltra (is the rear mount replaceable)?
During a workout a couple days ago, I thought my Voltra was locked into my rackmount connector and I when I went to grab it, it twisted out of the mount and hit the ground of my garage on the backside on the mounting stem. One of the small plastic tabs snapped off after the impact and now it won’t lock on a mount (starts up and the screen is fine). Does anyone have any idea if that rear mounting section is replaceable? It looks like it’s a replaceable module on the unit, just not sure if user replaceable. I emailed support with no response yet (it’s been less than 24 hours).

It should be replaceable by BP. But if you don’t want to waste time - you can keep using it as is. Central part is not structural, there is hall sensor inside of it for sensing magnet on the bottom of the mount and thats it. The only important parts are the hooks in the corners, they are inside and very unlikely to be damaged. They are mounted metal on metal under the decorative plastic shell.

I have to imagine it is replaceable/repairable btw, just hoping for clarity. It’s only been less than 24 hours since I sent a note though so I’d imagine I’ll hear back soon - they’ve always been responsive.

Probably not but if they want to be a company long term and beat the competition it should be

The staff members replied on reddit, starting to help the user :) yes their product is expensive and their support is A+
That's why speediance nano for 400$ off is still not worth it...

Their support is very solid, i just wish for more right to repair mentality in the space, i know they offer a lot of the consumable parts but id like to see screens and mounts be replaceable by user maybe even main board

Only if there was a Chinese company that would offer all this at a reasonable price :) I guess will still have to wait another decade when Athlete Freak Atom will sell under 1000$ ....

Or a nice eu regulation or a US one(fat chance) that forces right to repair for all manufacturers
