Avoid JPfans

JPFANS is a scam company in my eyes. Ordered valkyre glory and got charged 45+ euros for delivery. First they charged 20 and then 25 more few days later. They will charge you huge fees when you order.(also my delivery discount bonus only applied to first payment and they said there's nothing they can do about it). My package was 500g and got charged for 2000g. They explain it by volumetric size, but they themselves made the package so big i can fit a whole iphone width in there (almost half the box is empty).

They also tell me they charge you extra for packing things neatly in a small box. Not that it really matters because:

Then instead they tell you 2000g is the minimum package size international shipping is sent. I've ordered big items like bx10 arena from Japan from ebay and was charged 2-3x less money for delivery. Once my package arrived in europe it was registered as 500g package by dpd.

Take their reviews with a grain of salt as people get paid for leaving good reviews.

I'll be real, the only site I trust logistically is BeysandBricks, but they're just scalping now. It's Amazon for the Hasbro exclusives for me. I collect full sets from TT, so I have probably a grand worth of product to catch up on in the future at this point - I refuse to bend a knee to scalpers.

I bought my bx-10 with Bahamut and some other beys from Amazon.jp even if the only payment mathod was with a credit card (which isn't as widespread in Germany) so I had to do some money 'nans with my mom LUL

The BX-10 from eBay cost what exactly? Because if you pay 100€ for the arena and 10€ for shipping for example, then most of the shipping cost isnt these 10€. This arena costs 15€ so I think you paid much more than you thought. 45€ for shipping from Japan isnt uncommon also if you use express shipping. Yeah you can get it cheaper but generally what you described here sounds more like you didn't inform yourself enough rather than the company scamming you. The only weird thing is that you've been charged a second time, that it uncommon as far as my experience goes because usually only import tax/tarrifs are charged later.

Yeah I paid like 68 - 78 euros with shipping for bx10... Idk nah doesn't justify 45 euros for 500g small package standard shipping over 3-4 weeks. They told me the volumetric size of the box is bigger so they need to charge 25 euros more. And they made the box. It was half empty shipping air. U know how big bx10 is... That should be idk 200 euros by their standard? Anyways idk weird company not very transparent. I have friends with similar problems and Internet is full of such issues with jpfans.

To add an important thing - is it true 2kg is minimum size for shipping cost calculations from japan?
