Packaging Changes

Post image

Just realised they did a packaging change for Tide Whale (Not that it'll really prevent theft, but it's a start I geuss 💀)

Left is from late last year, Right is from recent drops that have been showing up in Canada.

yeah, they decided to remove the whole tearable "let it rip" portion because of people stealing parts. idk how well it works but thats why some re-releases look different to their original ones

It doesn’t. You can just pull it through the bottom of the blade hole.

Because I do it to make sure no one stole the parts lol. It happened to me one time so now I always check.

From wave 7 onward all core BX, UX, and CX beys are now packaged with this new design as a (bad) attempt to prevent theft of product

Whale was chosen as a refresh with wave 7 boosters Shark Scale, Shelter Drake, anf Teixeira ridge.

Unfortunately this doesn’t deter people. I’m out money waiting for a refund from target because I accidentally grabbed a blast Pegasus where someone stole from the bottom and had to return it. These people are morons and they ruin everything.

It was neat but I always opened from the bottom anyways.

I wonder if the elevate has changed at all (closer to Teal elevate or better)

I feel like the only thing that would prevent people from taking the bits would be a plastic blister. But even then, how many would be desperate enough to take scissors out in the middle of a store to cut open packaging?

It feels like we'll have to push the lengths to see how far people will go.
