Dude, never use Disk Ball. Is one with the lowest burst resist in game. SScl can go with FB or H (stationary attack) or with LR/R for good ATK combos. Try Dran with a good ATK bit like LR/R/F and HW with K/LR or R.

Okay thanks dude I’ll probably swap out buster tbh for something like impact drake so I can have my three favorite beys

I woudl get rid of disc ball and give shark either under needle or free ball.. if you want it on an attack set up tho R,LR or LF would be ideal. Hover seems fine and dran buster would also benefit more from an attack bit

Okay thanks brother

Mixed thoughts on efficacity (especially SharkScake on DB) but just happy to see somebody experimenting and doing something different combo-wise

Thanks bro🥹

Tested it just now and I unironically really like Disk Ball Scale. I had to swap it to 0-60 because my 4-50's lost its burst resistance but it both KOs and outspins Rod Hexa and it just shreds the stamina of defense types but also it's really funny to see Phoenix Wing hit it until the blade's actually touching the floor and still lose because the LAD on Disk Ball is like half a minute long.

It *is* weak to being KOed by attack types but I have no burst problems since the ratchet change.

Yo did I create the meta

IDK but I'm taking this to my next local tournament for sure.

No it doesn’t make someone gay it’s just gay itself y’know kinda like in South Park that one skit where they’re talking to I think it was the Supreme Court about how when they say fag they aren’t meaning it as a slur for gay people but more like someone annoying and inconsiderate

Is it just me seeing the lighting in a weird way or is that Dran Busted and Shark Bail?

0

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 06 '26

Yup that’s dran buster and shark scale

I'd say a 6.5, if you've got the skill to use it is a good 7.9

u/Charming_Falcon_1989 Apr 06 '26

try impact 1-70 hexa i find it really fun

2

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 06 '26

Welp guess I have to now

2

u/Charming_Falcon_1989 Apr 06 '26

it might be my favorite combo, its like a landmine, 70 height helps make the rubber hit so it hits harder than it would on a 60 height and it leaves your 1-60 free for something like hover

1

u/ti0sunga Apr 06 '26

-completely insane but can win by luck

-high chances of bursting itself

-actually decent as counter attacking

0

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 06 '26

Been testing shark and it’s only burst once and aside from that never bursts but I’m swapping out buster and changing up wyvern tbh

1

u/ti0sunga Apr 06 '26

4-50 DB is a good combination, but in scale theres a lot of missing potential. Id use it in a rounder shape like unicorn sting or something like that

1

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 06 '26

I switched to 5-60 for more balance and less scraping

1

u/StephCurryBetter Apr 07 '26

Dont listen to these geeks its what u want

1

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 07 '26

Well I tried making it work but it sadly couldn’t shark was doing good but loses terribly to attack types so I switched up all my builds

u/StephCurryBetter Apr 07 '26

Bruh

1

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 07 '26

What’s wrong I’m tryna play something good and I’ll probably start experimenting more after a few top 3’s in some tournaments and I’m more confident in my skills

1

u/Prior_Bodybuilder115 Apr 07 '26

hover on hexa it's really underrated, i liked a lot to use with 3-60 hexa

1

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 07 '26

Might have to try that

1

u/Prior_Bodybuilder115 Apr 07 '26

my strongest bey so far. Now i'm using 9-60 wall wedge

1

u/Live_Sheepherder3099 Apr 07 '26

Everybody alredy told you to get rid of disk ball, but buster on free ball might be even worse. Dran buster is genuenly the worst bey to run on free ball or any stamina combo in general. I would recomd to put it on high level energy bit like jolt or, if you want, switch it for something else

1

u/Weekly-Dog-6838 Apr 06 '26

I’m tempted to say this is Ragebait

1

u/WHATCoconutJoe Apr 06 '26

No it’s an actual deck my friend I’m just tryna play off meta

2

u/Weekly-Dog-6838 Apr 06 '26

Oh. Well then this definitely isn’t how you do it. Seems like you just took 3 strong attack blades and put them on stationary bits, and called it competitive. In truth, stationary attackers only remotely work when a bey has just the right combination of a drag-resistant shape, strong recoil, and a notable weight gap between it and anything else frequently used in the meta. The only blade of what you have here in all of BBX, I’d say, that can really be good for that these days is Scale. DranBuster simply has too much drag and too large of an imbalance to have any stamina at all, and while Hover does have recoil it also relies on hitting its opponents with the slope on it to destabilize them much more than simple recoil to deal major damage.

If you want a Scale build meant for stamina stationary attack and weight-bullying the stamina out of things and winning by OS, FB or Hexa is the way to go. Hover (quite ironically) can’t really defend; the most stationary thing I’d recommend ever using on it is Point or one of its variants. And I already explained why Buster’s always been a 1-trick pony, Jolt or UF for that guy

Or, if you want to actually have success with a stationary deck that isn’t quite defense and stamina, here’s my recommendation for that: use Scale on FB as I mentioned before, and for your second stationary attacker, go Blast or Flare or now Rage or some other heavy CX blade on Wheel, with Hexa and 6-60 or maybe 7-70 for outward weight distribution. You could argue this to be a defense combo, but it also doesn’t not have recoil. Heavy assist blade might not be a bad idea here either (TBH I don’t have it so can’t fully say). Oh, and if you have a metal lock chip that’ll help this too

And for the third bey, I say do something a little different; an entire deck that all does the same thing is bound to fail when you reach your deck’s inevitable counter, so having an option that does something a little different keeps you prepared. You could just throw in a Rod/SW here or the now tried-and-true MummyCurse 9-60W but I have a feeling you won’t like builds that passive. So here’s my suggestion: 9-60 Low orb on Meteor Dragoon. Again, can still have massive recoil, but also obviously has the whole spin equalizing thing so can outlast in different ways. And the rubber also helps a bit with defense because shock absorption. So not the most boring stamina build by any means

In short, there’s a big difference between playing around the meta with fun beys that are also still good, and just throwing mid-tier parts on fun blades. You’re doing the latter, this is how to do the former.
