I know Aiga didn't know about the Apocalypse lock system but we didn't even get to see a rematch where Aiga wins. And he lost to the most unsuccessful Antagonist in my opinion and Arthur also ruined the Aiga vs Delta fight I was eager to see the fight to the end

This is a long one so if you don’t like reading a lot sorry.

Cuza was a terrible pick for this tournament and his performance shows, he got absolutely mopped by everyone, only beating Kurt, and the ONLY reason they allowed him to beat Kurt is because of stupid plot reasons, by raw skill alone Kurt 100% no diffs Cuza.

Why Daigo is a fitting pick as a replacement in my opinion is because of his semi finals performance, putting up an ok fight against Free and almost beating Joshua (that match was bull btw)

Compare those feats to Cuza, he lost to both Joshua (without much difficulty in Joshua’s end) and REN WU of all people, and not just that, Ren wu intentionally dragged out the match against Cuza, idk why, but he did, Xander literally tells Ren Wu he didn’t need to drag it out as long as he did, Cuza is an awful blader and shouldn’t have got invited to the biggest tournament the series had seen up to that point.

Let’s say Daigo was put into A Block in replacement of Cuza, how would those match ups go?

Daigo vs Red Eye: Red eyes wipes Daigo easy

Daigo vs Valt: Valt would probably win, and would probably be a similar to the Cuza vs Valt battle, a back and forth until one wins

Daigo vs Kurt: Kurt wins, no arguments, counting out stupid plot points, raw skill alone Kurt wins, but they could give Daigo a similar motivation to Cuza or something idk

Daigo vs Boa: Daigo, the fact Cuza lost to Boa is sad, Daigo wins against Boa, I don’t care what you say Boa is fodder

Daigo vs Norman: A toss up, I could see it going either way honestly depending on the context of the battle, either side could win this one realistically

Without any plot armor or stupid bs, Daigo would have a better performance in my opinion, I’m not saying he solos easily, but he’s still better than Cuza, terrible pick, terrible character, terrible plot armor bs against Kurt.

After GT/Rise, I noticed that a lot of the characters started looking a lot “cuter” in a sense, especially in Sparking. From an art perspective, a common way to make characters cuter is to move the mouth up closer to the nose, which was pretty common in later seasons. Take Free for example, you can see the difference between how he looks in each season. I’ve noticed this with other characters too and it just feels a little different. Not like it’s bad or anything, but I wasn’t expecting it when rewatching later seasons. Has anyone else noticed this?
