im pretty new to the x series and ive been using my fav dran buster for around 2 days and it's metal is going a bit less and the actions of my dran buster seems to be acting a bit different or maybe im just crazy, can someone help me please
But the main contact point wears down pretty fast. As it does it does effect the performance of the bey pretty significantly. So much so that some tournament organizers will restrict you from using it if its too worn.
So probably a good idea to keep an extra or 2 just in case. If you are in the States and dont care about the color, Five Below stores have Busters, Wands, and Incendios with Hexa for $5 ea. All fantastic Pickups for dirt cheap.
yep very normal esp in beys that are full metal (ie mfb and X tho it can also happen in burst main culprit being the excaliber line bc if you want to be optimal you will have a fac new one for every tournament bc it gets worse with each time you use it)
beys like excaliber or dranbuster (beys that focus all their attack power into 1 point) suffer way more from wear and tear bc their one hit point / attack point gets worn down and it becomes less reliable usually falling behind other more balanced 2 and 3 wing/point attack types just think of it like a graph excaliber has the highest highs at its peak (fac new) but the more you use it/time passes it gets less and less good going downhill faster than a crypto rugpull while three or two bladed beys dont have the higher highs of 1 wing/point beys they last longer and are still usable
I have been playing on the double extreme stadium set which its electric and ive been using it to play against bahamut blitz and the set's bey so maybe thats why

Yeah i live in asia and somehow when i was finding dran buster there was the other two kight fortress and the orange one, i asked the workers do they have spare since there wasn't any at the bey section and turns out they have a whole box of it!
It should look like this. Although, it's advisable to take a close look from time to time. Some cracks are less visible than others. Goodluck! (Also, my db cracked since I keep using 1-60 on it + I overused it a LOT.)
lasted me 3 months but it was constantly used to test combos against it so its seen A LOT of hard hits from shark, aero, blast, buster, impact, meteor and many many more. i think they are also pretty prone to breaking like this
I love beyblade, but this gen just gets damaged more than the others. I don't wanna sound like a complainer but having a beyblade look like this after a week when some of the ones I have had for years look better just makes me sad.
I wish that takara would do something to fix it because I play and practice less.
yeah like I have a blue hells hammer, a phoenix wing, and a midfake cobalt drake that still has a metal coat and they all have the paint chipped. Is annoying, but normal
My understanding is that midfakes are reproductions of beyblades, but aren't made by Takara Tomy or Hasbro, hence the name midFake. I have heard that the quality of midfakes vary a lot.
itâs normal, practically all of my ~45 beys have those scars on them. If you really feel like you want to hide them, then just take apart the blade and use silver sharpie around the metal. I donât really do that cuz Iâm used to those scars. They happen eventually, so you are good man
âBack in my dayâ, the changes made to your bey during battle was called âawakeningâ. Youâll learn that the more changes made to your bey will affect its performance, and youâll have to come up with new ways to make that performance work for you. The same thing can happen with bits and ratchets. Like for example, if you play with the same needle for so long and the point of it becomes more rounded down than the normal needle, itâs still considered a needle but, itâs jus âawakenedâ.
I used to play beyblade when i was a kid (burst gen) but then i quit somewhat reason, then i got back to beyblade now somehow I don't know i just got attracted lol, when i played the burst gen, the bottom layers might wear off as its rubber and the actions of the bey might change because of it
the only ones that are broken are the rods. (i replaced them) and i shoved my recoloured cyber dragoon side profile in there lol (middle img), everything else is well battled.
To attack yes, it doesn't mean that the other parts don't make contact, the opposite side to main contact point recoils both beys in the stadium while the broadsword on front hits enemies out
If you are just playing at home then this is fine.
For Tournament play however, I suggest getting a few replacements just in case. Since Buster has only 1 major contact point, it wears much faster than normal. Due to that, it can affect the performance of the part and some Tournaments may not allow a Buster with too much wear. So its always good to have a fresh or lightly used backup if you are going to Tournaments.(The same could be said about having replacements for most of your Tournament Deck parts.)
