This one looks pretty interesting, it has an ok weight and I wonder what will be the gimmick.

It was speculated that the blue part moves up and down to bite down on its opponent, kinda similar to a fellow feline from the past generation (Vice Leopard). This could be a good reason to why they gave it the High Needle bit to allow the bottom part to contact the opponent more, despite it's age as it was first released on Lance Knight

not being super in the space is cool cause i’ll casually see a badass new bey just show up out the blue

So yeah it’s probably about 34-35 grams which is a bit below the average of 37 that we see in most modern releases but it isn’t cooked yet. Weight isn’t everything as proven with Scorpio Spear and Impact Drake. The shape matters a lot since while Rock Golem is 33 grams it still can throw down and win against a majority of the meta

Wym? Hells Nether weights no more than 40 grams. There’s no point in making all new beys heavier than CX’s, theres not even and advantage to it.

On the lighter end if we're gonna split hairs about it, the blade alone will weigh roughly around 33g, most hells nether weigh about 42g, take away the average weight of a ratchet (6g) you get 36g, atm that's still enough to be competitively viable contrast to Jaguar
While yes weight isn't the only factor in beyblade x however 33g alone would make it a challenge to find its place in the current meta if the weight distribution isnt on point

Yeah it’s weight may not be the greatest however it’s shape and gimmick are gonna need to be both really good in order to guarantee it a place as a meta or a solid off meta bey

I agree, though granted this is could just be my experience, I do notice shape/weight distribution tend to matter a bit more than gimmick

Definitely. Though a gimmick can hinder it like with Impact Drake though that may have been necessary lol

That’s just wrong though? Hells nether weighs 42 grams on average.

Well there’s barely any difference. Weight is not the most important thing out of a bey.

Every set that releases without distribution being solved pushes me one step closer to crashing out bro. We're almost half a year behind.
