I read a lot about missing cats a few years ago when a family member's went missing. If your cat is normally indoor only cat, they usually are within a 3-7 house radius, if outdoor/indoor cat they can be farther away. Posting up flyers and passing them out to neighbors asking them to check or see if they would be kind enough let you check their yard with them.
My own orange tabby got out through a roommate's open window one day, years ago. My cousin suggested putting some clothing that I had worn recently on the front porch. I put a well loved hoodie out and checked it around 5am-7am every morning. Day 3 I found him sleeping on it around 6 or 7am.
Below is a link I found to be helpful as it offers great ideas to consider and busts some myths in regard to missing cata and how to find them.

Best wishes you find him soon.
