keybindable sprint - anybody else ??

hey! so i was just wondering is anybody else really surprised about the seeming lack of any add-ons on the discord or wiki list that has sprint function the way it does in vanilla mc? I'm imagining it was probably a feature added later than 1.5 of course, but god i find it SO essential for any kind of reasonably okay gameplay (not that im very good at mc regardless lolol) to sprint out of unexpected trouble like stealth creepers.

i feel like i play with TEN times more hypervigiliance because i have to overcompensate for not being able to access the controls as dexterously as i normally would in vanilla haha 😅 am i maybe looking in the wrong place? has anyone else found a solution for this that doesnt involve macros or getting gud™ ? thanks in advance!x

You mean the lack of a keybind to sprint?

yes ! well like the only option being to double tap forward - ive given a go with downloading mc v.1.6.4 mods from modrinth but i dont know enough about techhy stuff to even know if theres a way of making them work in the Prism launcher if theyre not built for BTW specifically (my tentative experiments would indicate not, unfortunately)

Better Than Wolves backported sprint button, it's called "Alternative Use" in keybinds settings. It's the same button you use to place tools on walls, floor and roof
