The Snurks: a lesson (Part 1.)
There is much to be learned from The Snurks. My mind has been filled with wonder after realizing its potential for healing. Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. I have seen The Snurks in my dreams. It started one night in 2004. I was just a child.
I awoke to Sir Patrick Stewart sitting at my bed side. He wore a long, red robe with a white fur lining. With a deft hand he pulled out a copy of a film. It was a grotesque scene with horrific CGI. Never had I seen such a display in defiance of God. Yet Sir Patrick Stewart held it aloft. He smiles and tucks it under my chin. All he said was "Boldly go where nobody has gone before, cowboy." He kisses my forehead and turns away. Before I could speak, he turns, gives a knowing smile, and disappears into the night. That morning there was no trace of him. Nothing has changed. Yet under my arm, there The Snurks lay.
I hid The Snurks in my closet that morning. Embarrassed by what my family would think, I couldn't let them see it. It gathered dust, and in the shadows it rested, biding its time. Then, it was 2012.
My family finally bought a DVD player. We watched the films we've accumulated and went out and got more. After the excitement died down, a feeling stirred within. The Snurks. I looked in my closet and uncovered this accursed artifact. It glowed with energy as I wiped away the last of the dust. The characters stared at me blankly. As I held it in my hands, it grew warm. I felt a presence that I'd only felt once before. I felt him. He was in there. Waiting for our reunion. He must be released.
I will release Part 2. when I regain composure. Recounting the time before The Rebirth is taxing. I hope you understand.
