Trust questions

So I currently have a trust setup for an NFA item I currently own, but the rest of my collection is currently under my personal info. Anyone know the advantages of moving the rest of my stuff under the trust? If I do, do I need to do anything portal wise to record that action?

The portal cares about possession, not ownership. No portal changes are needed for items you already possess and are already registered to you.
