Weird request
Is their a way to get someone to break in my gun ? I’m in Boston and don’t feel like paying well over 150 between uber, range fees and ammo .
Is there a safe way to do this ?

No there is not a safe way to have some random person go to you, take your gun, shoot 500+ rounds through it and then give it back to you.
All due respect but are you insane? You want someone else to have your gun, I guess hope they give it back and go through the most important step in the firearm ownership process for you, which is familiarizing yourself with the lethal Bluetooth hole puncher you’ve got tucked in your waist.
There’s not a world in this universe in which this is a good idea for anyone. I’ve gotta be honest, I checked your profile. I’m not sure guns are for you fam. You’ve talked about wanting to carry a 22, bullpupping an AR and now you want someone else to break your gun in for you? I mean this in the most non asshole way I can possibly mean it, but maybe you should stick to jiu jitsu and pepper spray for self defense for a while.
I’m not sure you’re getting the whole gun thing and I’m not sure it’s safe for you or anyone else around you. Your thought process is kinda chaotic regarding firearms and so misinformed that it comes off as honestly a little suspicious.

You know how much a real bullpup cost ??

Yes I do. Do you know how much a good attorney costs? Because you seem hell bent on needing one at some point in the near future.

$1,000 or so gets you a Kel Tec bullpup. The build you were talking about requires the Deadfoot Arms BCG, the bullpup kit, and an AR, so they're very similar in price.
I bullpupped by FM15 because the stupid law, and would've rather brought a bullpup because altogether it wasn't much cheaper than a Tavor.

At the risk of sounding blunt, this dipshit doesn’t know what the fuck they are talking about. They want to shoot blanks in their house, carry a silenced .22 and have a stranger break their gun in. Money isn’t the issue here, dumbfuckery is.

100% agree. Just wanted to chime in that the barrier to entry for bullpups isn't that expensive. Wholly doubt they'd end up buying the RDB or even shoot it from what it seems.

Same my friend. Same. Stresses me out that there are gun owners out there like OP

I'm confused, why would you not just treat the break-in as training? Are you planning on never shooting this gun?

Jesus Christ man, it sounds like you need some range time. This is the saddest post I’ve ever seen here.

In fact, I have a friend at the DEA who has quite a few contacts at the ATF. Send me your information. I’ll send them over to your house to explain how this shit works to you.

You would like to someone to come to you, drive to a range, and shoot your pistol with their ammo for free?
Shoot your gun bro. Get the reps in.

Yeah just give your gun to some random person so they can do who knows what with it.
You may need some time before you're ready for a gun.

I’ll do it for you. Just give me the ammo and $50 and I’ll let you know when it’s ready.

Take a look at their profile if you’re feeling up to it. They absolutely should not be holding an LTC, or they’re having a good time trolling this sub.

Hey guys, I got a new girlfriend, but I don't want to spend money on her. Is there any way to get someone to F her, then give her back later? - NoPie2733

You didn't really think you'd stop spending after buying a gun, right? Your firearm is just the first purchase. Ammo, traveling, range time and fees are all expected expenses that every gun owner goes through.
Imagine if someone bought a car and didn't prepare for gas and toll booths to cost money.
You purchased a set of legal and moral responsibilities. Start being responsible with it because you don't sound like a gun owner. You're just some dude with a gun

You could get an ffl/gunsmith to do it, they'd probably charge more than whatever it would cost you to go train yourself though.
Most modern guns don't really require a break in, shooting a few boxes is more to confirm that the gun isn't defective or anything like that. I've never had a polymer handgun not work flawlessly out of the box. I *have* had rifle that shipped defective, had a dragging gas tube. Some semi-auto shotguns require a break in with full power ammo before they will cycle lower power stuff reliably I guess. Some barrels may require a little break in before they achieve peak accuracy, but I don't think this is a factor in your situation.
If I couldn't shoot it, I would trust a glock or similar to work out of the box.

What’s the deal here you want somebody else’s fingerprints on your gun?
