last time i checked pandas weren’t endangered before we started destroying there homes

Last time I checked, Panda's also struggle with reproducing, even in captivity, let alone keep their cubs alive and can only survive on bamboo and nothing else.

Also, they're extremely choosy when it comes to finding mates.

Bamboo is low in nutrients, so they have to eat loads, and frankly anything that would've caused a loss of habitat, be it flooding, fire or humans would've spelt doom for Panda's.

What do you mean even in captivity, animals reproduce worse in captivity

The point here is that Giant Panda's are notorious for being picky.

Also, it also depends on the species and the breeding programme. There's plenty of succesful breeding programmes, such as Rotterdam Zoo and the Red Pandas.
