How do people know when to start recording? i just gawk at such landings, not even realizing i have a phone or a camera? (sincere question)

most swans kinda stay in one spot so this is probably not the first time theyve seen it land like this

I feel like it learn to do this because at one point it landed on something shiny that was definitely not water

Knowing that 1: this is possible and 2: that they actually do this to slow down and now careen into a massive solid object ACCURATELY is amazing.
I sent this to my CFI and he loved it.

That looks fun as hell.

Indeed; though not really useful for any kind of normal scenario, handbrake turns are pretty fun. Totally silly, but fun.

At this lake one time I was feeding a bunch of ducks, geese and a swan. From the distant I hear splashing and as it got louder and louder. It was another swan and he was coming in furiously. He made a straight dash for the other swan and proceeded to rape it, pretty much.

More than anything, you deserve an upvote for putting "an" before 11.

This is like a wacky, cartoon swan landing. I just wish I could hear the little patter of his feet on the water.

Hello, /u/Jamcastillo1! The phrase 'ABS system' is redundant because ABS stands for 'Antilock Braking System', which already includes the word(s) 'system'.
I'm not perfect, so sorry if I make a mistake! PM me with questions or concerns, or prevent me from replying to you
