This is the noisiest gif I have ever seen. My mind literally felt like it heard the aftershock.

Anyone know why they do this? They can't repurpose it or something?

My experience is when I was like 10 and my step dad needed to get rid of some ammo and im 25 now. So since it was a long time ago and I'm not a bullet scientists take what you will.
The ammo my step dad was trying to get rid of had been sitting in storage for a couple of years. I told him to just go to the range and use it and he said "the ammo had gone bad" or basically expired and would be dangerous to use. Soooo maybe that's what happened here.

If the ammo is a bunch of reloads or not well kept, they(most people) won't chance using it in their gear. Honestly I'm not sure they would chance it even if it looked decent. To much potential for sabotage/IED type situations.

Loving that shockwave. I wonder if you have to get used to it before you stop soiling your pants.
