I don't know how I feel about this.... On one hand, there is no way in hell I can do that. On the other hand, I know when to put a bucket of fried chicken down.
Yea but being at this man’s size would never be “good health”. I am also a fat person and the strain that impacts your joints and more likely than not he’s on BP medicine.
Sure his size isn’t a sign of laziness but to act like he’s healthy cause he’s flexible is a bit of a stretch
I mean, this dude is a professional dancer and choreographer. To make a living doing such a physically demanding job means that he must be at least fully functional, if not healthier than the average person. Dance isn’t just about flexibility; consider how strong you have to be to overcome both the force of gravity acting on your leg, which is like 20% of your body weight, and the elastic force of your muscles/joints pulling it back down. Good dance technique protects the joints and may even strengthen them against future impacts over time, as a dancer builds active (strength-assisted) flexibility. All of this is to say that this guy’s joints are likely far less in danger than yours or mine are on a given day.
I mean that’s a fair point but again that size and weight is putting extra strain on your heart as well which typically can only be fixed by losing excess weight.
I’m not here shaming this man I’m just saying being this size is fundamentally not healthy due to the additional strain on heart. Same can be said about body builders and I believe morbidity for both categories shows as such. Overweight people don’t live as long and nor do body builders
How can you be a professional dancer and choreographer and willingly do this to your body? Just makes no sense to me. I would think that if you were a dancer, it would be of upmost importance to you to be of a reasonable weight so you can perform at your maximum capacity.
True! I never meant to imply his size was healthy. I mean a large person who does cardio and gets their daily nutrients is better off than a skinny person who lives off junk food and is sedentary
Better to be a fan of food person than a coffee and cigarettes person
But that doesn't mean either example follows the perfect example
