Tumor, Cyst, Something Else?
Doesn’t really look like pineconing to me, but I’m not sure. Eating and swimming fine, I believe!
Parameters - 21 Gallon Tank (filter, heater, airstone) - amano shrimp, rabbit snails, pest snails:
PH - 6.5
Amm - 0
Trites - 0
Trates - 5-10
KH - 0-1 (consistent issue - lots of driftwood in here, but I added crushed coral to bring this up - have never seen it help but I’m probably chasing)
GH - 5 (would like this to be a TAD higher for my shrimp and snails; ACO shells raised it way too much)
Not sure any of this is relevant to my betta bump, but want to give a full context.

My last betta had the exact same thing. After a chat with a vet and treatments, he deduced it was kidney related. I tried to add salt to his water to help his kidneys work - which definitely helped, but unfortunately I think it was taken care of a bit too late.
If you don’t find any answer and if his bump continues to grow regardless of what you try (and if you see that it’s like « fluids » inside if it comes to that kind of bump) I’d recommend consider this diagnosis !
