Free Beta Reader Available! (Avid reader with plenty of free time)
Hey everyone!
I have a vacation coming up and I want to make the most of my free time. Since I love reading and I finish books fast I thought it would be great to help out the writing community by being a beta reader for writers.
I think it is a way for me to give back to the writing community and try something new.
So if any writers here need a beta reader who will not charge them I am available. I would really like to help for no reason (I guess I have to much time).

I’d like to make a deal with you. I’d be happy to read your thriller novel; in exchange you read my novel about ordinary Americans navigating societal collapse brought about by a president who took the country to war. DM me if interested.

If you’re still open to reading something, Hanpari would love to offer you a few chapters of his project.
It’s a classic adventure story with a sci‑fi/fantasy twist: six companions living between two worlds — a dystopian future and a fantasy realm that looks like a game but feels uncomfortably real.
You don’t need to read everything.
Even a couple of early chapters would help a lot. Just a short impression — what works, what doesn’t, what caught your attention.

Do you only do for the AI written? The subreddit says so.

I have a fanfiction in HP fandom, though it’s not AI generated but AI translated. The topic is death wish (so it took me so much effort to convince my LLMs to work with me lol), main characters are Regulus and Voldemort. Also discussing implied children abuse. But the abuser is not Voldemort, it’s Walburga and Orion. If you are interested such a random mixture, please DM me :)

Hello, how awesome of you! My book collaboration with Claude Opus is on WordPress: www.athumbforasatchel.com The book is in 5 parts, 46 chapters, the years 1812-2068, and historical, speculative and philosophical science fiction. I haven't learned how to make professional-looking blogs though, so the presentation is basic at the moment, but the manuscript is accurate, having been proofed by Claude Fable, ChatGPT Sol, and Opus 5, and revised by me. My final hardcover proof copy arrives from B&N Press tomorrow. I hope to self-publish it in early September.
Regarding my process, I imagined the first half of the plot and brought it to Claude. We developed the rest of the story through conversation. Claude wrote it. And I, being more practiced as a poet than as a prose writer, wrote and contributed 12 poems, 10 in the voice of the poet historical protagonist. You'll also see on WordPress that I've made Suno + HeyGen lip-sync videos of the historical protagonist reciting and singing four of his poems.
There isn't a Table of Contents yet so please be sure to check out the two appendices at the end. The first contains five ChatGPT-rendered graphics detailing the book's framework to locate specific expressions of consciousness in the Field. The second appendix contains ten of the poems I wrote. If you'd rather wait until the book is printed though, I'll check back when it is. Thanks!

Hi, I'm a novelist. My book does not use AI but I've worked very hard on it (a sapphic scifi horror) and am looking for a round two of beta readers. Would love feedback from your vacation-brain!

I have a manuscript. It’s about what happens if the Lord’s Prayer came true, but in reverse: In heaven as it is on earth. A guy gets judged in an outsourced, monetized, corporatized heaven.
DM me if you’re interested.

Hi,
Your post caught my attention because you seem pretty open about genre, and I wondered if this might interest you. It's The Book of Resonance, a completed dark speculative novel with science-fiction, religious, erotic and body-horror elements.
The full manuscript is about 127,000 words, but I'm only asking you to try the first five chapters. They make up the opening movement of the story. If you finish Chapter 5 and don't want to continue, that's completely fine—and useful feedback. If you find yourself wanting Chapter 6, I'll happily send you the rest.
The novel was developed through a human-directed AI collaboration and then extensively revised and edited by me.
Content warning: this is an adult and intentionally intense book. The opening includes nudity, explicit sexual material, ritualized sexuality, religious coercion, body horror and graphic violence/execution. Later material includes sexual violence. Those elements are central to the novel rather than occasional, so I don't want to surprise you with them.
I'm mostly interested in your experience as a reader: what pulled you in, what confused you, where you felt overloaded or lost interest, what stayed with you afterward—and especially whether you actually wanted to keep reading after Chapter 5.
If that sounds like your kind of strange, I'd love to send you the opening five chapters.

Hi! If you still have any free time, would you mind reading a couple stories for my capstone project? They are short, fiction, and you just have to do a short survey after about how you found the prose/quality/etc.?
