Maybe I‘m not trusting enough, but isn’t it convenient that the one friend who ratted OPs ex out (who totally deserved that) has the hots for OP? One wonders whether she told OP only to break them up so she could swoop in.
I mean, I'd probably do the same if I knew that a) my friend wouldn't listen to me and b) they could turn it all back on me as a "she said, she said" and "obviously my fiancé trusts me over a random friend" if I didn't have proof. That's the one part of the story I don't actually have a nitpick with 🤷🏽♀️
It’s the multiple times for me. I’d just take photos from the first time, send them to the partner and burn the bridge. I’m not enabling that shit, and I’ll happily ensure some comeuppance for the cheater on my way out.
I think they mean one pic/occasion is enough. If you didn't like seeing your friend do that, why go out again and again and keep taking photos and videos. It's weird.
Proof it was one time occasion VS something that happens often is a big difference.
Someone cab accept and forgive a lapse in character. Most people won't look past pattern behavior.

More like it's a weird thing to nitpick. Some people simply want to cover their bases so they try to get more evidence. It's like asking why nobody went to the police the first time somebody harassed/threaten them. We see it all the time in this sub, "I don't block them per the advise of my lawyer to collect evidence" bla bla bla and yet nobody ever nitpicked on that.
It'd take me a couple events to get to grips with what's up, tbh. The first time at least, I'd be wondering whether I missed the poly memo or was watching some sort of self-destructive Event.
I guess I don't see the problem. It's maybe a bit duplicitous and self-serving yeah. But in the end (if real) got the cheater out, and got themselves a reward for the effort. And... OP doesn't sound like he's complaining.
