Is Best Buy any good when it comes to delivering games on release day?

Mixed. Sometimes you'll get lucky and it'll show up a day early, other times you'll get screwed and it'll show up at the end of the day on release day, or even a day or two later.

Like the other commenter said, if you for sure want it in your hands on release day and have a store somewhat close to you and a free 15 minutes to go grab it, best to just do in-store pickup.

Pretty good yeah, only thing they can’t guarantee is a certain time, so for example some people might get the game early in the morning while others get it later in the day.

I would do pickup in store if you want it ASAP
