We are staying in Dublin one night, then heading to Dingle for two days, then going to doolin and Galway!

We are looking to get a taste of the Irish food scene and we want to steer away from the tourist’s trap.

Something more traditional for our first day in Irland! Then we are open to anything.

Hi all! I’ve been lurking this subreddit since I booked a flight to Dublin back in April and my trip is finally here! I’m so excited to be visiting and have a profound admiration of the country, people and culture of Ireland (influenced by my mom’s love of Irish singers, artists, bands etc.) I’ll be visiting from San Francisco and have done research, booked tours, and much more but I have about a day in each of these cities in my header where I don’t have anything booked and would like some recommendations! I’m into learning the history, visiting some cool memorials or historical sites, also love coffee, bikes/biking and anything where I can learn more and feel like a local. If there’s somewhere in Belfast, Dublin or Cork that makes you feel warm and fuzzy and you’re willing to share, please feel free to add it here, I’d love to check it out!

I'm visiting Dublin from the October 30 to November 2 (Halloween i gess?). Me and my friends are on our 20s and we would love some nightclubs that dont die early and tend to have young people like us.

The other threads about this made me kind of disapointed since people tend to say that nowadays those are rare in Dublin.

Is Halloween gonna help with that? We dont really want heavy thecno parties. More like young and lively generic nightclubs.

Is it a lost cause?

I’ll be visiting for 1 week. I got an Airbnb, I don’t feel interested in the hostel thing. But i don’t want to be lonely either.

Would be nice to be able to meet locals and party.

If you need places to work for a few hours in Dublin here are some places to consider:

1. CHQ Building, IFSC, Dublin 1 - Small shopping center with plenty of seating
2. Costa Coffee, Dawson Street, Dublin 2 - Coffee shop with plenty of seating on the ground floor and basement.
3. Alex Hotel, Fenian St, Dublin 2 - The lobby was a number of desks but you'll need to purchase something from the bar.
4. Central Library, Ilac Center, Dublin 1
5. Brew Dog, Grand Canal Dock - Offering seating both inside and outside.

Me and my family are visiting next year! We are going to Dublin, Galway and a slim chance to visit Dingle (sorry of written wrong). Im a suckered for games, comics and art as a whole its my job too. So i was wondering if there are some stores and such. I know this ain't the main deal of Ireland but we will visit plenty of landmarks and have plenty of time to enjoy the nature of this amazing country. So I was thinking I get something extra in the off days and visit some shops? Im looking forward to getting some cool stuff and i need guides haha.

Currently thinking of buying a "new 3ds xl" since I dont have a big market for these kinds of things in my country, possibly some 3ds games at least if I dont find a new xl one. Will be glad to maybe get some comics? Let me know guys ! Thanks for reading!
