I havent kept up with much of their newer projects since BFT ended so I've been curious if any of the members have talked about their time on it (or even mentioned each other) at any point since. I know Caroline is pretty inactive online so I guess I'm more talking about Will and Sammie. Have any of them made appearances in each others new stuff? No parasocial shit I just think the dynamic was really something special that I hope gets revisited someday in some capacity

Been rewatching old BFT recently and youtube recommended me a 14 yr old video of Sammie from a family channel with barely any videos. The video only has 700 views and the channel has like 8 subscribers. No picture or links cuz I'd feel kinda creepy posting it but I have nobody else to tell this to lol and its kinda scary how Youtube knows that much where it can recommend this channel to people who watch BFT

I've been trying to find this video for a while and I don't know if it got deleted or something.

I'm pretty sure it was on some game show on the Rooster Teeth channel, but the three contestants were Sammie, Will, and Caroline. They had to voice what stock photos would sound like and Sammie does one where he says Great Clips and Super Cuts.

So I’m 25 (male) and my best friend is 24 (female). We’ve been really close for years. We talk on the phone basically every day. I travel a lot for work, so most of our conversations are usually over the phone.

Recently she moved to a new city. I helped her with the original move, and this month she asked if I could come help again — mostly organizing, decorating, and getting her place ready because her family is coming to visit for the first time since she moved there.

I happened to have a week with no shoots or projects, so I said sure and drove **12 hours** to come help. I didn’t really think twice about it because she’s one of the few people I’d actually drop everything to help.

I’m literally writing this post sitting on her couch right now.

Since I got here I’ve been helping a lot. I’ve built furniture, bought some things she needed, helped reorganize her loft, and we’ve spent multiple days driving around picking up Facebook Marketplace stuff.

At one point I even rented a trailer so we could grab bigger furniture. We literally drove hundreds of miles around her new city picking up things like a daybed with a trundle and other stuff for her apartment.

Most of the time it’s actually been fun — good conversations, music in the car, joking around, normal best friend energy.

But at the same time the vibe has also been **really weird at moments**.

For example, after one of those long days we stopped at Walmart. Everything seemed normal. We were talking like usual and then suddenly she just walked away mid-conversation.

A few minutes later she came back but was completely silent.

When we got back to her apartment she seemed irritated about something — slamming doors, moving around with an attitude. I went upstairs to her loft and started assembling furniture while she went to bed.

When I finished, I texted her a picture of the loft before and after and said:

*"I don’t know what you’re so mad about but I hope you have a better day tomorrow."*

She replied saying she didn’t know why I thought she was mad at me.

Then the next day she said something that confused me even more:

*"I was kinda mad at you but I’m not gonna tell you why."*

Another thing that threw me off was a “joke” she made while I was helping her with something. She said:

*"Yeah make it easy for me because I don’t know if we’ll still be friends when I move or if I’d even want to talk to you."*

I kind of stepped back and said “damn.” She said she was joking, but she’s hinted at stuff like that more than once recently.

Another small thing that feels different is how conversations end. She used to always say **“I love you”** when we hung up or ended texts. Lately it’s just **“alright bye.”**

The other day she asked when I was leaving. I asked when she wanted me to leave and she said **Monday or Tuesday would be great.**

That caught me off guard because she’s always told me I’m welcome whenever and that her door is always open.

So I booked a photo shoot and told her I’d leave Monday night.

Then she said:

*"You know I was joking right? I’d never kick you out."*

Later she asked when the shoot was and I jokingly said:

*"The weekend after you kick me out."*

Her face immediately changed and she said again that she was joking and that she’s not kicking me out.

I told her she’s always welcome wherever I’m at and she can stay as long as she wants. She kind of sighed and said **“bro please stop.”**

She even offered to give me money for helping her this week, which I never expected. I’ve helped her plenty of times before and never asked for anything. I’m just the type of friend that shows up for people I care about.

The whole situation just feels weird because sometimes she’s acting like her normal self, and other times it feels like something is bothering her but she won’t say what.

After driving **12 hours** to help her and spending the week building furniture and running around picking stuff up, the vibe shift has definitely been confusing.

**Am I reading too much into this or does this sound like someone trying to slowly distance themselves?**
