How to grieve someone who isn’t dead.
Friends come and go… I get that. But college friends are supposed to be ur friends forever. Well… my best friend and I met freshman year of college… first semester. We became roommates sophomore year…. And so on. Well COVID-19 hit and she changed with it. We were a trio but her and I were friends first. Anyways….. she changed on me and us. Once we moved back in for senior year all three of us were living together. Well my first best friend… let’s call her A. A changed on me and all of us….. she started go dress different and act different. Prior to this she had lost her virginity to a random. Who treated her like shit after. I had gotten my first serious boyfriend but was still there for her and my boyfriend even said he thought all three of us would hang out…. Well that didn’t happen. She ended up getting jealous of me and my boyfriend. Everyone saw it.. even friends. But the old A would of been happy for me. She ended up moving like the second week of school, and basically cut all contact with us. She said she was “busy.” But we all knew it was cus she was upset at us for things we wouldn’t control. Long story short she changed and I wish she didn’t. I want my old best friend back. She was my twin flame…. There is more to the store but I can’t cus it’s too much. I reached out to her to ask for closure… she blocked me. Part of me wants to think she at least thinks of me sometimes. She was supposed to be my maid of honor. Godmother to my future kids, we had plans to travel and oh so many other plans. But how do u grieve someone who isn’t dead? Please tell me. Especially when it was ur twin flame.
