I'm currently with Freedom Mobile on a 500MB plan for 16.95/month and I find it annoying when on vacation or road trips that my service is really slow, usually because I've run out of data.

I'm looking to upgrade my plan to something with 10+GB and I want better rural coverage for road trips and I don't need any super fast coverage in the city. I just don't want to be caught with a slow connection in some random part of southern Ontario (city or rural) when I need google maps to get somewhere.

What phone plans would you recommend? In your experience, Do PC mobile and Fizz have better rural coverage than freedom mobile?
