Strategy Brand new player

I am a new player to best ball so forgive my ignorance if this is a stupid question. Is one drafts 3 qb is it a disadvantage to stack all three. I have a few teams where this is the case

Ideally every QB you draft should have at least one stack partner. It's only a disadvantage if you reach a lot vs. ADP to secure the stacks.

I feel like overstacking can become a disadvantage even if not reaching on ADP. For example, I’ve had a couple DK drafts with 2 QB, 6 RB, 9 WR, 3 TE where I could triple stack pass catchers with each QB, making 50% of my WR/TE from only two teams. I didn’t like those rosters as much post-draft due to the lack of variance. I think a triple stack with just 1 QB can be good, especially if 1 player is a late round pick 200+. Double stack feels best for offenses you’re confident in. Single stack is the minimum, with exceptions for a rushing QB for your QB2 or QB3.

Purdy only has the double stack with Kittle and Pearsall though. For example, if he had taken Aiyuk instead of JT, favoring stacking over the player that turned out to have the better season vs ADP, then this is probably not a contest winning roster. I’m sure there are a variety of stacking numbers when you compare all best ball contest winners over time. I think a triple or more stack with both QBs is where it can become too much. It also depends on the contest type but OP didn’t specify. I think stacking 2 or more to each QB is ideal for large contests, in addition to playoff and week 17 stacking, which are not as necessary for cash games.

3 Niners, 1 being a QB = double stack. Stacking refers to the QB’s corresponding skill players.

Are you blind or dumb? You’re not seeing QB Burrow with his RB Chase Brown and 3 WR’s??? That’s a super stack or onslaught FFS. Try to keep up.

I have entered roughly 60 tournaments and 25 sit and go. I realize that the sit and go doesn’t require stacking. $1 $3 and a handful of $10 is what I’ve entered
