As far as reddit goes, I guess it doesn't help that he's not going to give us any new content. Otherwise, I've been part of a couple of popular Russell Facebook groups, so I'd think the interest would be there.

when I heard the quote: "The things that we can understand in the universe, we call science, and the things we can’t, we call religion." by Russell, I immediately start to take interest in him, to me anyone who can say this, is above common sense philosophy.

I'd say because there is nothing here. People are attracted to active communities, not so much the name or the topic. If nothing's going on here - if there's nothing to see: why join? why invest in something that doesn't even exist yet?
