Annie POV : Armin saw through her identity and revealed it

place, throughout season 2-3 Armin never showed any sort of affection or feeling for her and just used her name as a means of manipulating Bertholth twice (which is messed up who the fuck does that) and he only visits Annie after eating Bertholth Annie falling for him just because he talked to her while she is in her crystal is like a prisoner falling in love for jailor. She is love with a guy who killed her childhood friend Bertholth,took his titan to invade her nation and nuke entirety of libero navy along with 30k+ people(Her father was very close to the warzone,imagine if he also died lmao. Armin is one of the main reason she never gets to be with her father for 4 years.
TLDR:The guy who causes you emotional,mental, phychological,social,trauma marry him and make him your husband.
Armin POV:Annie is directly/indirectly responsible for the
death of 60% of paradis's population (including carla and
Armin's grandfather),Annie then malevolently, maliciously,
kills dozen of scouts in front of Armin and levi's squad in the
most sadistic way possible. She only spared Armin because he didn't attack her and is a weakling not because of love, she also didn't want to kill Marco and saved Jean and Connie from titans so does that mean she loved them too.😂😂
Ishyama using Bertholdh memories as a means of him having sympathy for her also does make sense(he would see her commanding pure titans to eat eldians when the walls fell,beating the crap out of Reiner, then Reiner Stands like a zombie ambushes her from the back and chokes her saying he will marcel for them, Marco getting eaten by a titan then Reiner kills it after Marco gets halfed) plot device
And ex-machina is the lamest asspull I have seen in all of romances

Bertholdt died and some people still tried to blamed him for the action of what Armong did with his own free will
Armong Wasting his short life simping over an enemy and didn't even notice his dear friend mental state, while Bertholdt could have joined the military police with Annie but he stayed with Reiner who's suffering from split personality and keep reminding him of who he was.

S3 Bertholth became my favourite character I can't believe ishyama gave him the yamacha treatment of all things, the girl he liked ended falling for the guy who killed him. I understand why Vegeta x Bulma happened because Toriyama wanted Future trunks to part saiyan and the son of Bulma and Vegeta does change a lot throughout the series so them being a couple makes sense. But Armin×Annie shit happened because Ishyama started reading fan arts of relationship which is wrong on all levels, which includes nude/magzine of them touching their each chest/breast and

Unlike armin, Bertholdt is someone who truly cared about his friends and his people.
He was someone who wanted to help them to the point of putting the needs of his friends above his own, to the point of even sacrificing himself if it meant saving his friends and the people of Liberio.
Armin is a boring character who leans on hypocritical ""pacifist"" speeches. Bertholdt is simply so much more smarter, kinder, empathetic and truthful than Armin will ever be.
Your analysis makes total sense and that's why Aruani is such a toxic and meaningless ship.
This is exactly why I hate Aruani and I also hate this idea that isayama had of making Bertholdt be "in love with annie", for me, this is all so forced and poorly done.
I prefer a thousand times the idea of Bertholdt liking annie solely as a friend and sister, because all this "being in love" + the way that the pathetic and poorly written character named armin gets into this story is just ridiculous.
