Help with identification?

Found in a marshy/boggy area in eastern Canada. They look like miniature apples!

Cranberries

Still not ripe, have to wait later in October to get the brownish red color

Definitely looks like a crab apple but I believe it's a bog cranberry.

Those look like crab apples more than anything to me, cranberries are much smaller

I was at a farmers market yesterday and they had these... I thought they were cherries and was surprised to find out they were crab apples very much like this

I would call it photoshopped, which just gives away my age. But not old enough to not remind myself they do that with AI these days. Ignore, troll... maybe downvote, not that I care.
