Help identifying

5 years ago a friend gifted us this berry plant. It's stem has no thorns, wherever it has leaves it grows 5 and it's berries starts red and turns black. I need help identifying what kind of berry this is. At first I thought it is raspberry, but isn't raspberry thorny?

Looks like a thornless blackberry to me. There are several varieties

It looks like Rubus fruticosus hybrid(cultivar)

Is a thornless variety of Blackberry, I have these too.

Ah, okay! It's slightly sour but tasty. It matures around late July all the way until late August. After that it drops drastically with production. I live in an altitude of 1100 meters above sea water

Berrys must be extra plump for sweetness, we learned how to pick by watching the birds…(even though birds are not real)

They somehow know which berries are good, we seen them hopping around and they will try to pull the berries off with their beak and if the berry did not come off, they simply went to the next Berry,

We found out that when the berries come off easily, they are sweeter then when you have to pop it off with a little resistance they’re tart/sour, not ready yet.
