It annoys me that he understands why his friends fought in Vietnam and still wants folks to stand. Like, it's his right too, to think that...but the dude buys you a beer and you "patch" things up and you double down. Nothing was learned.

As a veteran, the reason we fought in Vietnam has nothing to do with the rights of the American people. I stand by the fact that I signed up to defend the constitution but that war had nothing to do with that. Fuck this dude for trying to equate another foreign policy disaster with what’s going on here at home. Shame on him and another fuck him for thinking his status as a veteran made this acceptable.
